As all of you may know, or have felt within that last couple of days that our clan Chieftain has been occupied and has not "been around" for a stretch of time. This is leaves me with the responsibility of tending the Clan without the necessary tools to advance ourselves beyond only the beginning stages of our group.

That being said, multiple attempts have been made to make contact with a Funcom customer service representative to resolve our problem. All attempts have been ignored, blown off or shut down by these representatives and to that I say "fuck them". This leaves us in a position that we either stay and stagnate or move foward and grow.

To that end, I am personally leaving this clan, with the support of my current officers to create a second guild. This will occur Sunday June 22nd if one of the following does not occur.
a) Our Chieftain returns
b) Customer support is reached and problem is resolved on that level.
Please keep in mind that this is not an insurrection and is not intended to remove our current Chieftain from power.

I will start tending suggestions for the new guild name, government type, locations, ect...

On another note, I have removed Warchief Septeve from the Clan's roster permanently. I made contact with her the other night and determined that she has shown no interest in being a leader of our guild anymore. I banned her from the guild due to Gross Negligence, Dereliction of Duty and Conduct Unbecoming of an officer, she was an officer and she simply shrugged off her responsibilities to play as an alt in another guild. I wish her good luck with her new clan.

Forum Changes and Recruitment

I've taken the liberty of changing the security permissions of the "town section" forums to members only. In doing this I am forcing members to register a character within our group at guildportals.com. Keeping current with the news is very important as I feel all members should have as much information as safely possible.

Furthermore I have added a post about our recruitment needs, this is extremely important as it is the difference between a health clan and disbanding our current group. Keeping with the current rise in alts I will be passing a bit of hard law on those soon, stay informed.

I would like to also add that I am looking for one final officer, if you wish to apply, throw me a message, I promise I won't bite hard.

Promotions and Tribulations.

Dear Kinmates;

It's not often I meet members with such devotion given to our guild as a whole in such a short amount of time that we have existed as a Clan. This select group of people have been considered to become involved in the process of becoming a War Chief. I would like to congratulate Brennan and Brieanne on their recent promotions to Elder status. It does not end there for that group of people I mentioned earlier, there is still one more position to be filled and a few names in mind. I will be contacting these people soon.

It is also with a sunken heart that I must announce that our Chieftain Belgetha has been unable to join us in the lands of Hyboria. She is currently experience problems on a personal level and has suggested that leadership of the Clan be transfered to myself for the period of her troubles. I hope that this is not necessary and that she may returned quickly to us with the same vigor and determination she has always displayed in her ventures.

That is all for now, I hope I have more good news to report then bad at the next chance.

I would like to take the time to point out a few points of administration and to reassure people the the webpage isn't being unused.

What I plan on doing is to start scouting for a third active officer. With the consent of Belgetha, a fourth commission will be handed out. If you are interested send an guildportal email to Belgetha and I for review.

What you should be doing, or have done is to register to our forums. Please do this. As the Clan becomes more active I will personally be relying on the boards for passage of information.

I will be cleaning out the guildbank of all gemstones to make room for building material donations. If anyone would like any or all of these items, contact me ASAP. They will be removed at 2130h Thursday, 24 hrs from now. For further information on harvesting examine the new sticky topic in the forum's "Member OOC" area and thank you Sirius for passing that along.

As per the norm, I am still waiting on suggestions for formal RP events within the Clan. I will also look for a volunteer or two to host "RP workshops" for those who are new to the concept and wish to learn in the small pond. The purpose of this is to acquaint new member to RP in a comfortable environment.

A night at the Pub

I'd like to thank all those that attended the improptu meet and greet at the pub in Tesso last eve. We were introduce to some of the new members and great kindred they are. If anyone in the Clan would like someone invited to the kin, contact Belgetha or myself and we will try our best to sort them into the fold.

I'd also like to make sure that everyone knows that every piece of Sandstone, Ashe, Silver and Copper are needed for our Clan's town. We are still short Ashe and Sandstone for our current project, every little bit helps.

Overall an extremely successful day, capped by a good RP event. If anyone has any idea for further RP events, please talk my ear off.

Clan Bearclaw Meeting ~ Another time.

Though every effort has been made to meet with our potential guild partners 'Clan Bearclaw', they could not meet at our Keep for various personal reasons. The next gathering time will be decided as soon as possible and will be announced post haste.

I appreciate that everyone from both Guilds made their best attempts to attend and hope that the same effort will go into the next meeting.

Clan Bearclaw ~ Meeting our friends

After the sucessful and highly energized Tavern Night, we've been invited to host a gathering of Clans. This Thursday (6/5/08) at our Clan Keep, we will be gathering with Clan Bearclaw. This will be a meeting with our closest allies, which will let us meet them in person and get to know them.

I look forward to much boasting of great deeds and tales as well as a good time as we meet our new friends!

The Town has Grown!

Deep in the wilds of Cimmeria the calm of nature stirs as Clan Frostblood builds its keep!

Early this morning (around 4am) the Keep was built, Araconis is to be commended in his diligent efforts to make this possible. Also I must thank everyone who supplied resources to the guild.

Now obviously this is just the start, the town is built up a bit but its obviously still a very barren place. Next on our agenda is the Tradepost. This will allow us to access the bank and mail systems within our own city. It takes nearly as many materials as the Keep did, and all structures take 2 gold to get the plans. I personaly 'am broke, and I'm sure Araconis is as well from the 2 gold we pooled (mostly on his behalf), so with that said I must call on you our Kin to aid in the supply of money. Please if you can donate any money you can to the guild bank or send it in the mail to myself. Once we have the two gold we'll be able to watch our town grow once again.

Tavern Night Tomorrow

Tomorrow night at 9pst we will host our first Tavern Night. As you might have read above the town has been started, as such Tavern Night will now be held within our Keep! To get to it follow these directions: Go to Cimmeria, go to Cormell's Valley, head eastward to Feild of the Dead, once in Feild of the dead make a right and you'll see the zone to the Plains. The NPC will ask you if you want to go to the plains or to the Guild City... obviously say the guild city as it will take you to the correct instance of the plains and the correct location.

So be there if you can, we'll start it off with a bit of Clan "buissness" then finnish off the night with drinking and tales of great deeds and dark places!

Clan RP gets underway

Today (or rather yesterday), marked our first of many RP events, this one included a telling of our Clan story, as well as backrounds for all involved. The event was such a sucess that even other players in the Green Man Tavern joined in a bit... in little ways.

Now I know most of you missed out on it, be it that you were stuck in Tortage or just not on but do not dispare this was one of many!

Keep an eye on the events notice (to the right), as this coming week will play host to a "tavern night" as well as possible other RP events.

On a secondary note talks have begun with Clan Bearpaw about creating an alliance, the plan is to allow the two guilds to RP together at events. This could also include unified raids, PvP mini games and such. Should you see one of their Kinsmen in the world feel free to engage them in RP. Also they are quite open to the concept of a good old bar brawl... so some time we may just have some fights on alliance wide "tavern nights". Again we are still in early talks but do try to show them that Clan Frostblood is commited to its RP ideals, as well as showing the other RPers of our server to look out for us, don't just keep RP in the guild alone there are plenty of people out there to engage.

The future is bright, let us stride proudly into it.

Today marks a major event, after a great deal of time being shattared and in disaray, we have reformed and are slowly regaining our former glory. With that said I welcome all of you... many of you are forign born seeking a new life for your own reasons and some are returning to aid your clan in its time of need!
