We are the Order of Marr, followers of Mithaniel Marr, the god of honor and valor. Mithaniel Marr was one of the few to speak in our defense at the Council of the Gods. When Rallos Zek growled "the mortals must be made to pay for their insolence", Mithaniel Marr replied "You ignore the honor in their hearts, they have earned the right to exist, to ascend to greatness." We seek to hold the honor and valor Mithaniel Marr spoke of in our hearts and ascend to greatness.
We are proud citizens of Qeynos and servants of Queen Antonia. The only requirement for membership in the Order of Marr is that you be a citizen of Qeynos, or a citizen of Freeport, willing to fight with us against the Overlord.

The Order of Marr is an active, friendly, entertaining, family type guild. We clearly enjoy each other and ourselves. Guild chat is often high-spirited and funny, and sometimes can be a dizzying mix to IC and OOC chatter. Sometimes it can even get a bit off color. Life is never dull in the Order.
We own a lovely guild house in South Qeynos, just across for the Mage Tower, and our “House Father” Rhamnaceae welcomes all to visit. Inside we have many elaborate crafting stations and a treasure trove of rare items, collected and created by our guild members. We hold meeting and event there in the loft space, which is often re-configured for events.
Role-play is alive and well among our ranks, and although it is never forced, it is encouraged through guild meetings (which are bi-monthly), events, such as wedding or scavenger hunts, classes or during times guild members gather for groups.
As we follow the path of Mithaniel Marr, we treat all with respect and honor. Our faith that there is good in everyone, and within the words and deeds of a sage wizard, a noble paladin or cagey scout, we are rarely disappointed. In fact, are often awed by their actions.
What we are not is elitist, snobby, cold, impersonal or greedy. We offer our wisdom and aid to those of all levels, and even those trapped in the confines of Freeport are given asylum, should they ask for it, from the hands and wicked ways of the Overlord.
We not a raid-oriented guild, and we will never raid as our primary cause of existence. We respect those that wish to and may even raid as a guild group from time to time, but we feel it would negatively impact the warm friendly feel of the guild to focus solely on raids. We are looking into forming alliances, however, with other guilds to increase the number of raid level people available to our members.
Within our ranks we have crafters of the highest station and able to support a guild of our size. Crafters are respected within the Order and given a separate path to attain stature within our guild, if they chose crafting as their primary occupation.
For new members we offer ourselves as mentors, each one a Champion or Paragon of the Order to help recruits know the path of the Order and meet others of their level and rank and to succeed in becoming established in the world of Norrath. Within the guild there are not only ranks to be earned, but titles as well, created to provide worth and value and yet another goal to seek.
