From 30-40 besides south karana and the gnolls... check out a little known giant camp in firona vie or drolvargs =)if you are into exploring send me a PM.. I can give you a better idea than writing a huge post about getting xp and mixing up your adventuring...

Sorry to respond to such an old question, but I just level two of my toons (a monk and a paladin) from around 30 to 40 in the Guks . Gators in Upper Guk and undead at the Lower Guk entrance. Still didn't fix the faction enough of either of them to get them from Dubious to Apprehensive... FYI, you may need to use invisibility to get Lower Guk if your faction is not at least Dubious - check a frog when you zone into the Swamp.
