I own a Wii and the Force Unleashed for it. Graphics wise it is a lot worse than the other console versions, but honestly I dont think I would have liked that game if it werent for me playing it on the Wii to be honest. On the Wii version you actually move your controller in different directions to control the lightsaber combat and even force combat...lifting ahand up and it grabs an NPC and then you slam your hand downward and flip the controller upside down and it slams the NPC into the ground....running through corridors and seeing a group of baddies you just make a shoving motion forward with your controller and it force pushes the enemies and a bunch of objects through the air was quite fun and actually made me feel more like a jedi. The nintendo Wii itself I am not too fond of. Im actually looking to sell mine and the games. Probably as a bundle deal on ebay or something. Im not too big of a fan of the new mario kart either. I'll be honest though I started to lose interest after the SNES version....but this one really adds the cheese factor. Basicly whenever you are in first place it pretty much caters to those behind you A LOT and it gets rather annoying. There are certain items that are unavoidable that target the first place person so it doesnt matter how skilled of a driver you are and how much of a commanding lead you get these types of things will really bug you to know that you will constantly have to keep gaining first over and over again....sometimes not finishing first. As a big gamer fan this bugged me cause I am very competitve and if someone isnt that good at racing they should strive to get better this seems like a move made to make it so little kids could beat their older brothers which in theory probably works really well for them...it really annoys people like me who dominate on a track and then Joe Nooblet gets a blue shell and blammo knocks me into 4th place instantly. I honestly bought the Wii for one game and one game alone and that is super smash brothers brawl....I own in that game...its cocky I know but its true...I struggle to find good competition here in Vegas and I go to local tourneys for the game...its a great game with friends...lots of trash talking goes on during our sessions. My ultimate gripe with the system overall is its meant for like Dorms or people who have friends over frequently and not someone like me who wants to play games but also have those types of games for when friends come over. I also dont like how they focused soooo much on the motion sensor technology. Some games it really frustrate you. I had the blockbuster pass and went through almost all the Wii titles...a good handful of them arent even worth free factor with a magazine on one of those demo discs...thats right not even worth $5 IMO. Some really outstanding titles though are....all the lego game...this goes for any system though...its not a huge difference then other systems. Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Boomblox. A Game made by Steven Spielberg which is like Jenga and so many other concepts combined and multipled by 4 billion...its insane and soooooo addicting and fun. I had arm pains for a week straight after renting this one. No More Heroes. Is a bit graphic and has some language issues but its like an anime type game. You are an assasin...and a smartass one at that...it was just cool how things worked. One of the most memorable moments for this to me was when in the game your character gets a phone call and you actually have to lift the Wii remote to your ear because I just found out at this point that there is a speaker right in the center of the Wii remote. The sound played only out of this speaker and you would miss the dialogue if you didnt hold it by your ear so it was just a small immersive thing that I liked about that game that I wish they would use in more Wii games...sadly. Mario Party. Always good...really fun with the Wii but again those frustrating sensor technology things kinda show on some of the minigames with this one. You will get annoyed at how you are doing what the game says but not getting the results you want. Zelda...twilight princess....havent played it on Wii but I did on gamecube and the game just is epic win. Nuff said.
