Welcome to AlphaStrike!

AlphaStrike is a group of players dedicated in equal parts to having fun together, whatever that may entail, and progression towards our goals in World of Warcraft. The goals of AlphaStrike are:

1. To belong to a group of skilled, fun-loving and active players.
2. To experience further endgame content with the afore mentioned players.
3. By experiencing further endgame content, to advance our characters and our skills to a higher level of play.
4. By becoming more advanced, to more enjoy our time spent in-game.

With a core of very experienced players, we are approaching the expansion with the idea of having as much fun along the way as possible. We will be running instances, but only as interest and skill allows. We do not require players to leave their guilds, but we do expect some level of commitment to AlphaStrike and its runs. As such, depending on group composition, we will run ZG and AQ20 until we reach a point where it is no longer practical. Following this, we will run MC (depending on numbers), and run that instance until our core of players is ready to move on. From there, BWL, AQ40, Naxx and all the expansion content are in our sights, but our main focus is not on tier gear or purple pixels. We are more concerned with friendship and dedication to our goals than phat lewt.

With the expansion looming, raids will be held on weekends, and weekdays will be dedicated to helping each other level.

AlphaStrike will be governed by a group of Officers. These Officers will be bound by the written goals and practices of the group. There is a short list of group practices on the website, including loot distribution, raid invitations, and conflict resolution. Anything that comes up that is not expressly covered by this short list will be dealt with on the ground by a minimum of three Officers. We believe in fairness, and will attempt to resolve any situations with that in mind. The Officers are also there to help you find your way in raids, but feel free to share any knowledge you have of your class with them. We might all be experienced players, but we know that no one is perfect, and we all can quite likely learn new tricks.
