We are located roughly 2km east of Mos Espa on Tatooine.  A neutral city that offers a safe haven from the Galactic Civil War.

Well, I'm back in SWG for 30 days.  In long enough to see abandoned houses get packed up and see how much DFC will change afterward.  Probably be a good time to destroy the city hall and go back to being a collection of a few houses in one area the way it was before player cities.

I had thought of maybe coming back and even paying a monthly subscription, but there has been too many changes for me to keep up and basically I have an empty friends list like I do in SL, and that doesn't make the game fun.

Other news, I think me heading to PotBS is 50/50 right now.  I have been looking forward it and Flying Lab holding off to release the game until they have avatar combat in the game was a good move, but for me, not too sure.

Basically, I'm not too sure where I stand anymore on MMORPGs.  I have lost all interest in STO.  I can't think of any MMO I would be interested in playing in the future.

I've been disappointed overall and the magic I experienced in EQ will never be recovered in any future MMO.  SOE practices and my experiences in SL after I came back when I got a new computer have really made me pessimistic with MMOs overall.  I basically think my days are numbered in MMOs period.  If I go, I will just pack up and that will be it for me.  No goodbyes.  No forwarding address.  Just me closing one more door behind me and moving away.

So, when that time comes, I will cherish all my favorite moments in the MMO universe one night, have a guiness as I remember them, and then drink the memory away.
