The guildhall was filled with a deafening, echoing silence.  The lack of noise was utterly amazing, a sharp contrast from the normal chaos caused by the members of the Fellowship of the Golden Night.  It was as if the hall were completely empty, which wasn't impossible due to the constant call of the Coin Lords to the Fellowship.  Soft afternoon sunlight filtered its way through the roofs of the city of Stormreach and fell gently through the windows, painting patterns of gold and shadow on the floor and walls while heating the room to a comfortable warmth.   

A pale, snowy-haired cleric took no notice of any of this however, pale blue eyes completely focused on a single folded piece of paper which rested innocently on the table.  Eopia's eyes continuously strayed to the seal marking the piece of paper, blue wax marked with the image of an unicorn's head, her hands resting loosely on the table on either side of the blank letter.  Her normally pale skin looked positively white despite the golden light.

Just staring at the thing made her skin crawl and her heart jump; in fact it couldn't seem to keep a regular rhythm.  As she picked the paper up to refold it her hands shook noticeably.  Her voice went beyond it's normally soft tone into the near-inaudible as she muttered to herself: "A letter with the seal of House Orien... I wonder..."  She couldn't bring herself to throw it into the fire, like she ought to, or even put it away; instead she stayed in her statue-esque pose, eyes still focused on the piece of paper she held in her hands.

Clad in an unremarkable shirt of chainmail, a small, enchanted dagger in her right hand, Aluatris bustles down the corridor of the guildhall. On her way past one of the common rooms, she spots a duo of unmoving personages. Taking a pause to observe her sighting, she notices a familiar face and smiles.

Tucking her dagger into her boot, careful to avoid slicing her ankle, she walks nonchalantly into the chamber and takes a seat near Eopia. She nods a greeting and watches her with detached interest, but keeps quiet.

She blinks. "Huh; me? Oh, quite fine."

Furrowing her brows as she takes another glance at Eopia, she inquires, "Eopia, is everything alright? You look a little troubled."

"Ah," Turning back to Nklos she smiles apologeticly, "And how are you?"

A small face marked with a blue swirl peeked around the door frame, a good-natured smile lighting up the halfling's hazel eyes as Rrula stepped into the room and nodded to the small group.

"Hiya Nklos... ladies...  Did I hear someone talkin' about supper?!" she beamed, not appearing to notice Eopia's flushed cheeks and flustered manner.

"Hey Roo!"  Nklos says a little surprised at the joy in his own tone of voice.  Yeah, were gonna go check out the illusionists show then I'm buying everyone dinner.  You want to join?





*Waits and pauses for an answer.*




"Just dome a favor, and don't stand too close to the brothers for me, please."
