A version of 4.0 has been free for a while, but Advanced is much better in terms of lighting options if you can get it.  I use Pro, but only because I have to be able to bone out figures (I've probably mentioned I make clothes for a living).

If you get to a point where you're ready to start playing with clothes and Genesis, I can send you the fantasy parts of my catalog and a character set to get you started.  So far I've had to buy all my full armors (like the Alruna and Adventure Lord sets I'm using for Frodarick, which I saved vouchers to buy from the DS store) because those take so long to make.

Sunks contributed some postwork on this one, including most of the glow effects and the goggle lenses.  This is Frodarick, his half-elf artificer, with his little beard and his very serious face and what appears to be an entire Brazilian discotheque that he's carrying on his body.




The features I gave him were definitely inspired by Jag's sketch.

My artsy friend after reading Frodarick's story asked me to draw a picture of young Frodarick... so I spent my Saturday morning (and afternoon) doing just that:

Jiv'undus Callus is more or less drow for "pain eater."  Jivun is a Helves Angel (ranger monk fighter) build because that was the closest I could get to the flavor I wanted for her.  She has this template for RP purposes.
