I love that word, portraiture.  It makes it sound so much more important than the fact that I'm doing pictures of fictional characters from a video roleplaying game.

These are Arachan's characters, the brothers Starach and Daisliv D'Arachan.  I've been roleplaying with them more often of late owing to Shurjra, so I feel I've gotten to know them a little.  Made with Arachan's permission and feedback.

That cursed spoon has thwarted me for years *fistshakes*

This one took a few renderings composited to get them both in there and the right fuzzy edge/transparency effect on Veldros and the umbilical that connects them.

Quindros is a daelkyr half-blood.  Veldros is his shadow twin symbiont, effectively his younger brother.

Most of the time Veldros overlies Quin like a second skin, and he's only this visible when he chooses to be; the rest of the time it takes truesight to perceive him, and sometimes he'll be pulled back into Quin's collar and sleeves (his shape is functionally amorphous).  The umbilical can stretch out several feet between them when he wants to stand separate.

Caladhain Doriand, human rogue/wizard multiclass.  Caladhain is a neutral evil, a necromancer purely when it suits him, a thief and a liar and a conscientious, careful experimenter on his fellow sentients.  He is particularly fascinated by guilt in others, because he's never experienced it.  He carries a lot of devices and boosts to help hide his true nature from good characters, and I hope the amount of things he's wearing helps hint at that.  If you look closely you'll see a couple of lockpicks stuck in his belt.

His arc will eventually include alignment change, but it's going to be fun getting there.
