Points exits the cabin and turns aft. He passes the spiral staircase and several cabins before exiting on the Aft Main Deck. He looks up and waves as he sees the Captain move back into view through the Bridge window.
The Captain nods and everyone on board, regardless of where they are, clearly hear his voice. It sounds like he is standing right beside you and is clear and concise. “All hands, we have cleared the beachhead and are now 'feet wet'. All those interested, please report to the forward main deck for a tour of the ship. Sir Sykes, you are free to launch your perimeter patrol. Set Watches, man your weapons. That is all.”
Crew begin to move with more purpose and you may notice that gone are their tight dress uniforms. They have been replaced with short leggings, bare feet, horizontally striped short sleeved shirts and bandanas. They move with purpose and that purpose is no longer the passengers or their gear.
Moments later at the back of the ship, there is a loud screeching cry and a large dark shape flies aft of the vessel. A few miles back the shape banks and turns to the port side. Those with goggles of minute seeing might be able to make out some details but the shape quickly blends with the sky and is lost from sight.
Points moves back forward and smiles to himself chuckling. “… and so it begins.”
::In the Fellowship Common room::
::Taking a deep sigh, Aurelueithil let her shoulders slump, and in doing so, used the slight forward movement as momentum to roll forward into the center of the common room, twisting her body like a cat’s to come up facing the corner, her emerald eyes flashing, two slender, deceivingly delicate short swords appearing in her hands, the thigh sheaths camouflaged against the fine armor that hugs her muscular legs adjusting to the loss of their contents. With honed senses now operating on adrenaline, she examines the corner and the cause of the movement.::
In the corner of the Fellowship common room a panel stands open in the normally solid wall. A tall bearded human in purple and green armor is coming out of a side tunnel into the room. When he hears the slide of drawn steel he throws up his empty hands and shouts “Don’t hurt me!”

Points looks at Deriaz and pats him on the arm. “Don’t worry Big Blue, standard practice when entering or leaving a port. Pirates are often watching the ports for undefended craft. We’re just taking the precaution of being ready for them should they be so foolish.” Points pulls on Deriaz’ arm.
“Careful, that hatch there…” he points to the large slatted platform on Deriaz’ right, “That goes straight down to the lower holds. Fall down that and you might go all the way out the bottom. Just stand here with me and you’ll be fine.”
Seeing more people come out on deck Points waves them over. “Come on over here folks. Gather round. We will start the tour off in just a moment. We want to give everyone a chance to get here. It would be a shame for them to miss it.”
