Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

Hi there, in our own guild forums it doesn't seem to autodetect urls like it does in this forum.
Is there an option for this? What I mean, is that you copy and paste na URL in and it automatically makes it clickable when you post. In my guilds forum you have to explicitly click on the Hyperlink Manager in the top and then enter the information for it to appear clickable in a post.
Thanks

On my site, it works the same as here. I'm not using any CSS, so not sure if there is there is code that changes it if you use CSS.
Usually if you hit enter, or space once after it, it will change to a link. You may not be able to click it and go to the site while editing, although it will once posted.
I have seen a member or two enter URLs that aren't clickable and I usually quick edit and do a space after it, and it converts. My best guess is it's the type of browser they were using, perhaps disallowing java to run?
::shrug::
Most members don't have this issue and I usually edit them anyway to make them use a new window (personal preference).

Thanks for the reply Everdark. Unfortunately thats not the behaviour I see on our forums, and I'm not sure why. It's something that has long bothered me since we started here and I just assumed that's just the way it is... But seeing it work here has got me wondering.
If you'd like to see it in action:

Not the prettiest site, but it gets the job done

That's odd. I just checked on my own site again and it still works, whether I copy/paste the link or type it out myself.
I use IE 7 on Win XP. Wondering if it is a browser related bug in some recent code update? (no idea)
I suggest filling out a Support Form (link at top and bottom of page) if you haven't already.

I have firefox and I tried IE. The odd thing was it was working about 3 hours ago. Now it's just text. The only thing i did was change the color un did that and it still does not work. It is also only on my forums. The link box works fine. It also does not work in my mail. So what ever messed up is all on my editor for the site. Going to try here as well.

It also looks like it does not work here either.... I'm out of ideas lol.

Have you tried deleting you Temp Internet Files? (I doubt cookies would impact it, but you could try deleting them as well.)
When you open up your Forum editor, three CSS files are placed in your Temp Internet Folder:
Controls.css
Editor.css
EditorContentArea.css
I'm just wondering if maybe one of them had gotten corrupted. Make sure your editor isn't open when you delete your files. See if that fixes it.
