Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:

Becoming Adept!
i currently have the domain name purchased through another company and am using url forwarding to access the guildportal site i have here. problem is i get this error after typing the domain name into the url box that comes up after hitting go... the error reads this...
loading guildportal pages from within an iframe is prohibited.
Yet in FAQ it clearly states we can purchase a domain name from somewhere else to forward to here.
Now is this a problem because i have yet to purchase the site from here or is this something the domain company is having with guildportal or what is it?

Sounds like you have URL masking enabled. Turn off masking and use just "forwarding" or "redirection" (depending on how your registrar refers to it).

Hi all,
well, it doesn't look like anyone responds to this thread but I thought i'd give it a try anyhow as i'm going nuts trying to figure this out.
I have just started with the url redirect.
when I put the ip, or the address of my guildportal site,
my redirect always goes to the guildportal homepage!
which is driving me nutso!
can anyone help me with this?
for WWW and for @ and for * I put the address in the url bar when I am at my site and not logged in.
Or I tried using the IP address which doesn't work since the IP of my site and guildportal home are the same.
i've tried redirect, frame, cname, and Aaddress, always the same problem.
the redirect works...but it is taking me to the wrong page. guildportal home, rather than my guild site.
I registered my domain name with this site http://www.active-domain.com/
thanks for any help!

Open a GP support ticket for assistance. Be sure and tell them the name of your registrar and include any error messages you're receiving.

thanks for that response.
I just tried my domain name and it now works.
I submitted a support ticket earlier to guildportal and the domain site.
I don't know if one of them did something or if it just started working.
either way, i'm a happy camper now...
very cool!
i use guildportal as our families gaming site because it is so much easier to have the mail system and forums all ready set up, were aren't a traditional gamers guild, so it is awesome to be able to use the domain name with it now.
thanks guildportal.

I thought I might add to that last post, that I used url frame. which displays my domain name in the url rather than the guildportal one and it seems to be working fine.
all pages in my guild site show the same domain name.
but i noticed that if I click on the guildportal homepage from my guild pages, the url does not change.
clicking on guildportal from my bookmarks places the proper guildportal.com in the url though.
do you think it is a bad thing or just a quirk that is not a problem?
just curious if anyone knows.
i'm still playing around with the different domain settings.
