Alright so my site has some tool tips for forum categories and other things.. how do i expand this to more things AND how do i edit the color/border/bg of the GP tooltip box.. currently im using the CSS:

Editing this does almost nothing, i've tried changing the colors (especially the Lime one) to no avail, it doesn't change anything.. that lime color is definitely a sore eye on my site.

My bad, i didnt read much past the first page, and i did try that one before, however for some reason it will not work in the footer area of my page. Maybe because i already have some script there im not sure, all i know is when i hit save it wouldn't save the script.

Thanks alot though, works and looks great once i added it to custom html for the banner.

Any idea what would be causing my home computer to crash on the home page of my site? All the other pages work fine but when i go to home it gives me  and error and IE closes. I dont have this problem on any other webpage and it did it before i started all my work on the site.

I'm not sure why you can't save styles into the footer, but make sure you are saving it to the "Footer" and not the "Page Footer Text". I'm not sure why this matters, but I've run into trouble posting stuff into the latter - also make sure you add the "$block[boilerplate]" in the footer.

This might also be your trouble with the Banner Area. At the very top of the Banner Area page of the control panel, you'll see this note


It sounds like that's what you're missing.
