Dude first of all nice banner.  Really nice.  Second get rid of all that extra info on the front page.  Seriously.  Whats the point of having a separate page for a calender if its going to be on the front page?  Just a rule of thumb most people wont scroll down more then one ore two page lengths before they get board and go to see what the other pages have.  In the rooster i would suggest you add a WHos Online box just for referencing convineance.  Also when you are deciding on how to order the boxes i would recomend you list them by how often the information in them are used.  For instance you may want to move the clock down or lose it all together or up the recruting status so that guests can pop in and see right off the bat what you are looking for.  One last thing I would reccomend is that you create a new page for all of you media items(videos pics music etc)  this would serve to free up more front page space while making it easier to find that cool movie of the guy getting stabbed verses having to scroll down four pages to look for it.  Overall not to bad of a layout though.

PS  I to am waiting for this game to come out can hardly wait.

Well as far as i know the only way to change the font size also canges the size of the font inside the boxes.  However if you make your own custom CSS sheet you can change the individual font sizes.
