Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to
this post

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

Becoming Adept!
This is the first time I've built a website using Guild Portal. I recently purchased hosting and a vent server using GuildPortal's services.
The issue only seems to appear on users who view the site with Internet Explorer. I am a Firefox user myself.
Whenever a link is clicked in the info sections pane, the whole website resizes to the right side of the page. The issue only seemed to arise whenever I changed the background image for the modules themselves; It could also be the background image of the site itself. I'm not sure.
The page remains like that for the remainder of the visit to the site unless it is reloaded.
Basically, everything is compressed together and moved to the right side of the page. I do not understand why it would act like this, but I can almost guarantee it is user error

Hi chryosis!
I can't duplicate this problem, but maybe it's because I'm using IE version 8 RC1. Check to see if this might be the problem for your user.

Becoming Adept!
You are right Mottie! I updated from IE7 to IE8 and the problem seems to have gone away with Internet Explorer.
But, is there any possible way to fix the problem related to IE7 other than instructing them to download IE8? I'm surprised windows update did not automatically download the latest IE for vista.
I suppose I could leave that information on the site for users who are using IE.
