I notice when I go to create an event it only allows me to post the begining time and no ending time   So once an event starts the event goes *POOF* from our main page.

It would be great to have the ability to enter a start time AND an end time. So folks know what to expect like:
Guild Raid to Storm Hold
Start time: Sunday 12/4/04 1:00 PM PST to
End time:Sunday 12/4/04 4:00 PM PST


Help the Guild Crafters Contest
Start time: Sunday 12/4/04 to
End time: Sunday 12/11/04
Each contestant to donate 100 hides to the crafters will win a 10 slot weight reducing bag!

Currently we also do not have the ability to choose a time zone for events this causes major confusion and ppl asking over and over and over in /gu and on unneccassary posts of new thread in our forums as to “what time zone is the raid?“

Can you add a drop down menu choice for events creation by time zone?

EEK Hey Aaron any idea why the posting system does this to me? It creates this white background behind my text sometimes. Nothing I can do seems to change it. It's like a ghost!   I end up having to edit my post and change my text color to purple or something you can read in the white text background.

Anyone else have this happening too?

Yes, an end time would be a nice addition.  Great idea!

I've noticed this happens if you cut & paste from another application. For some reason it takes the formatting you have from that application and makes it appear as such in the design window but you don't see the difference until you post.  You might try doing whatever in Design, but click on HTML before you submit to make sure no foreground & background colors.

I like the suggestion btw.  I'd also like ALL DAY EVENTS for holiday & birthday announcements.  Since Announcements themselves only appear for that day, I put our member birthdays on the events calendar too so people can see that the birthdays are coming up. I have it set at 11:59pm EST right now so it stays on the calendar until the next day.
