I would like to know how to go about imbedding content hosted on my personal web page on my GP site. I am building a roster system for my guild that is far more robust than what is currectly available for City of Heroes.

I was prepared to use a hard link to the page outside the GP page with links back to the GP pages coming back from there to our other nav menu choices.

So is a link out to my own page necessary, or could I imbed my roster page within the GP page. It will use data bases and call on data that will be stored on my site.

You would drop the iframe into a Freeform Text/Html box. (click the <> to drop code into the box)

The iframe code would look something like this.

<iframe src="http://www.bigottergames.com/events/events.htm" frameBorder=0 width=155 scrolling=no height=310></iframe>

You can change the settings, width, height, scroll (scroll=auto) etc.

Or you can use the Embedded Page content option of guildportal.

I personally use both ways... Hope that helps...

The above iframe looks like this when implemented.

If you want the code and images for the event box... download it here.... You will need a place to host it... check the data.js file for changeable settings to customize it a bit.

It counts the posts to my guilds site as well as any here. I am a guild leader and make alot of posts. And of course there was the time that we changed guildportal site names and I copied and pasted all of the raid reports and guild rules etc... from one site to the other.

:)

Well the forums are a large part of some sgs' activity like mine.  Check us out: www.doomheroes.com.

Anyway aren't there issues with iframes now?  I had this slideshow on our hom page and now it says Security and the show doesnt work.  I'm not very iframe/html savvy so I can't figure out why its messed up.
