Alright so i looked a little, im trying to add flash buttons to be tabs. (its two lightsabers that ignite as you click em). But... i cant find a spot to upload it, or even a spot to put a custom tab in. How would i go about putting flash in my tabs? I have the tabs made in flash, just needa know how to get it on guildportal.

On the control page you should be able to link them using the Styles and Colors with Tab Images under Site Element Styles.

I'm trying to do the same with my guild's site.  I just tried linking the url of the SWF using the Site Element Styles and as I expected the image didn't show up at all.

Can this be accomplished by embedding the swf in the table through the css editor?  here's a piece of my code-

<td Class="Tab" align="center">
<div class="UnSelectedTab">
<a class="topTabLink" href="Guild.aspx?GuildID=88945&TabID=792706">
<object classid="clsid:166B1BCA-3F9C-11CF-8075-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/director/sw.cab#version=8,5,0,0" width="118" height="55" title="about">
<param name="src" value="http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l204/nashi-nash/jingoist/about.swf">
    <embed     src="http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l204/nashi-nash/jingoist/about.swf"     pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/"     width="118" height="55">
    </embed>
</object>
</a>
</div>
</td>

If that's the way to go I'm also wondering how much html you need to put into the css editor to make it work properly?  If I'm just interested in customizing the tab bar like this do I need to put in any code besides the tab bar code?

thanks!

What I did was hide the default tabs using the CSS and then put my custom tab menu in the banner area.  Here's our site if you want to see what I mean:  http://soldiersofwrath.guildportal.com

Ok good to know.  Do you have any specific instructions for putting stuff like that in the banner area?

I had found this code on these forums to hide the normal tab bars:

.TabBar {
display: none;
}

Just stick it in the CSS area.  As for actually putting the stuff in the banner area, it depends on what you want and what your trying to achieve.  The flash I used is just the simple looped banner movie.  Anything more complicated and I'm afraid its out of my very limited realm of knowledge.  I ended up settling on simply using javascript for my navigation bar because everything else was too complicated for me >.<
