Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to
this post

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

Hi Nykeawyn!
The problem is some browsers don't let you access fonts from other sites. When you point to a font on "typefront.com" it ignores it because it only allows fonts from "guildportal.com". The only exception is the google fonts.

Fingers of Fury!
I tried the google fonts and I couldn't get them to work either. I will follow the steps yet again and if you could check them out, I would appreciate it. I believe it is supposed to be in the footer area, correct? Am I only allowed to use 1 font or can I code for multiple fonts? I'm trying to get better, really I am!! But I have no idea where to look to see if the fonts actually took. I only added 1 font this time. If you could check it out it would be great.
Thanks,
Nyk

Hi Kykeawyn!
Yes, the code should go into the footer area and there isn't really a limit on the number of fonts you can use, but design-wise, it's better not to use more than four.
To see what the font actually looks like, look at them in the google preview area... I don't remember exactly what it is called.

Yeah, I have one in the footer area right now and it doesn't seem to be doing anything at all. Not sure if I have done something wrong or if I need to look somewhere in th texts area's to find it. This has me really stumpped!!

Hi Nykeawyn!
You should try this again, now that the guild files have moved. This time when you copy the font url, it should start with "/GuildFiles/######/". But there is a file name restriction, so you'll need to rename the file to change all underscores "_" into dashes "-"

Hey Mottie,
I noticed on the first post that you lined through where it said some of the things will not work with IE and FireFox. Does that mean they will work now or am I getting my hopes up?

Hi Nykeawyn!
Yes, you should be able to now upload your custom font and use it on your site... the reason we can do this now is because of the new file system where the files are now accessible from guildportal.com instead of axiomfiles.com.

Cool, I followed the instructions in your post at the bottom. I just don't know where to look to see if the fonts are actually there or if I missed a step. This one thing is getting too confusing for me!!!

Hi Nykeawyn!
Just look in the File Manager (Control Panel > General Settings & Tools > File Manager), the url should look something like this: "/GuildFiles/######/font-name.ttf"

I checked there but there is nothing there but uploaded pictures. I have to be missing something but I'm just not sure what it could be. I would love to use the font at the top of the page here for my widgets, I wish they would offer it for that. I appreciate all the help you've given me but I can't seem to figure this one out.
