Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

Becoming Adept!
I had some problems myself with a side border not showing up right in Firefox. It looked great in IE on the left side of the page but the border would move to the center of the page in Firefox.
So for right now, I just made a simple background until I can figure out why Firefow ignores the CSS for borders. Anyone know why Firefox does that?
Our site is

. (kind of a "medieval" theme)
ps...see the shout-out at the bottom of the page to Mottie !!!

Well i'm not sure exactly what your problem is without taking a look at your CSS source code. But for me and what fixed it:
form {padding: 3px;border: none;
max-width: 500px;}
form {padding: 3px;border: none;}
I had to delete the red text. I entered it in hopes to make the Reply mail and post not shoot across the page some times. It's a random error that i still cant figure out why it does it.
It displays fine in IE, since IE evidently supports form width, FF however, does not.

Actually Avandius, it's that IE doesn't support "max-width" whereas FF and most other browsers do. If you define just a "width" they both should recognize it without any problems.

Looks like on some peoples IE my background doesnt line up right, i cannot figure out why though. If you scale the page left to right it goes underneath on some peoples browsers.. GRR.
Haven't had much time to work on it lately.. hopefully ill get my new content box designs in some time after Thanksgiving.
