Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

Is there a way to get the banner background to center and not tile, while at the same time not restricting the page width?
I know I can use a static image as a banner, but we want to keep the banner image just text and the background the picture for a couple of reasons.

Hi JebannGuildpet!
I'm not quite sure what you're asking, but did you try adding a background images using CSS?
.BannerArea {
background: transparent url(
mybackgroundImage.jpg
) center center no-repeat;
}

Im using the guildportal banner maker, it makes a banner background, and then superimposes the text ontop of that as an image. It used to be (about a month ago) that the banner background would be default to center and if the page width extended past the width of the background, it would continue on eitherside with a black background. Recently, however, the default was changed to tile, so if the page width is greater than the banner background image, the background image repeats itself. I can only center the background image by restricting the page width.
The easy fix to this is to have a black banner background and have an image as the banner itself, but there are guildies who want to view the webpage on handheld devices and can disable the background image by disabling java, which is not an option if the banner itself is an image, not a background.
What im asking in a round about way, is, is there a way to return the default format of the banner background, supplied using the guildportal banner tool, to center instead of tile.

Hi JebannGuildpet!
It sounds like you might need to submit a ticket. But in the mean time could you share a link to your site so I can look at it and maybe come up with a solution other than limiting the width.
