Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

Becoming Adept!
1st: I'm putting an image into my welcome box on my home page and I need to know how to make the image's back-ground transparrent. It's a shield "150x400" (or something close to that) and I want the box around it to not show up. How do I do that? Also, I'm using "Paint.net" for all my visual editing. (Yeah, I know it's crappy but i'm too cheap to buy photoshop. =P) if that helps.
2nd: How do I make the welcome box say the name of the user viewing it? "Welcome, Dahtay!" I see that alot and I would like to know how to do it. =)
Thank you beforehand for any assistance, it's well appreciated! ^^

1) Without seeing the image, I am assuming you are referring to a white or black background surround the image. The only way I know is to use Photoshop, copy the image to a new window, select the color (without biting into the image itself), delete the background, save as a PNG. (I usually save it as a PSD first in case I want to redo something I missed.
) I know that flies in the face of not using Photoshop, so perhaps someone else knows another way.

I have a really nice little program I use for cropping and converting files into gif/png (with transparency) named IrfanView... You can register it, but I don't think there are any limitations on the free version.

Thanks so much! I'm going to go try my luck with IrfanView now. If I have any issues I'll be sure to come back here and let you know. =D Thanks again!
