I have a thumbnail that to retain picture quality I made 200xsomeodd number.

Anyways the boxes under the thumbnails are smaller than the picture,, trying to play with looks but.. how do I align the rest of the content boxes to the right.. would be better if I could all make them the same size.. though.

Any ideas?

Tried the normal align tags, didnt work

Also to add...

Preloading a background image.. does it cut down time it takes to pop up? download time?  or preloading images with jscripting..

Any thoughts?

Head to your Site Pages area in the control panel, then click on Display Options for the page with your thumbnail content type on it.  Once there, at the bottom are three boxes for specifying left, center and right content pane widths.  If you make the width on the side with the thumbnails wide enough for it, the other content boxes below and above it will scale out to the new size.  By default it's 175px, so your images are expanding the column, but the other content types are staying in line with the width.

About preloading, I'm not sure how much time you'd save.  GP page execution prior to sending the data downstream is in the sub-second range, except in the case where it's parsing out external sources such as XML or RSS, or if the page has a *lot* of content instances on it.
