Specific to the Roster.  I'm not sure if there's going to be any kind of toolkit available for external real-time roster visability like in EQ2 or WoW.  If not the following would be very welcome additions:

Alternate Characters:
If "Main" isn't checked off in the character creator, it should either have (Alt) listed beside the character name, or simply list Main/Alt in a separate column.

Tradeskills/Crafting:
In GW2 you can have 2 active crafting disciplines at any one time.  I think all that's needed is the logo for the 2 professions someone has chosen, with the name on the image hover-tag to save space.

Disciplines are as follows:
Armorsmith
Artificer
Chef
Huntsman
Jeweler
Leatherworker
Tailor
Weaponsmith

As others have mentioned, adding server to the roster would be nice as well, as guilds in GW2 are cross server. I think you should be able to turn visability on and off like GP User ID.  It would be helpful when forming sPVP or WvW groups to know who can and can't join based on their home-server.

Non GW Related - Would it be possible to set up a built-in widget that can do a countdown clock to the next event automatically?  I'm using a 3rd party for this now on my site, but it would be great to have something integrated that updates automatically for the next event, or even the next 2 events in the calendar.

Thanks for the link the servers have been added.   You can update in your site in "Control Panel" > General (Name, Game, etc.)
