We're wondering what we're missing along these lines:
  • Areas of the game.  The zones listed when you are adding or viewing an event, etc.  What's not there that should be?
  • Classes/races.  What's been added that's missing?  What's named incorrectly?
  • Roster stuff.  What should be displayed that isn't?  What's displayed that doesn't really matter to anybody and should be removed to make room for more important data?
  • Content types.  Are there any types of content that you consistently feel the need for, that is specific to your game, that you would like to see added?

There is one topic like this for each of the games we host, at least the top several, and they are stickied in the Feature Requests forum.  Please, if you would, post only in the one that's specific to your game.  We're trying to clean house before we add some things people have been asking for for a long time now, so your help is very appreciated!

One of the main issues I see is the roster. As it is you have it set up to where there are two places for advanced classes. While there are two advanced classes per class, you can only pick one advanced class in the game. There does not need to be the second advanced class option on the roster. Each member is only going to be able to choose one advanced class. I would like the second advanced class column to disappear, and have it show the rank of the member or the title of the member.

Second problem with the roster is. We are a Sith guild. There are options for my members to select classes that are not even part of our faction. I recommend that you identify which faction the guild belongs to, and only allow for that factions classes to appear on the roster.

Third. The planets on the events section need to be updated, there are twice the number of planets available since the last time you updated that.

Fourth. I have been looking at other guild hosting sites, and they offer a lot more for box borders than guild portal. The preset box borders you have are not nearly enough. I would really like to see more variety in the types of box borders you offer. If I had seen those other sites before I created my guild website here, I might have gone to them. The box borders are one of the weakest features of guild portal. I do hope you add some better ones. Some SWTOR themed box borders for both republic and sith would make my love guild portal.

One of the things I was planning on doing in my guild was in-guild ranked PVP ladders and tournaments. I will likely use the site www.Myleague.com .

One thing I suggest, and this is not just for SWTOR. Is that you have some sort of PVP ladder or tournaments feature to guild portal (similar to the website i previously mentioned). Many many MMOs have PVP. Offering a way for guilds to manage ranked PVP on your sites would be huge for a lot of guilds out there. Something to consider.

This game is going to have alot of military ranks for many guilds especially those doing RP and PvP.
Would it be possible for us to get a spot on the forums for not just a member's forum posting rank and custom title but for their ingame guild rank as well?
This will be useful for many other games that have ingame ranks too.

It would certainly be nice if there was some sort of automated-roster widget that pulled it's info right from the swtor website.

Getting Started!
Before the Roster widget went down I noticed that the Assassin advanced class was spelled incorrectly as Assissin.

Corrected the spelling  .  This is a good post on the issue (if that is the correct word) on an auto roster at this time for SWTOR

Hopefully Bioware/EA will allow some sort of Roster import in the future. 

On another note, I think the list of "Tradeskills" needs an update.

Skills have been update.  And I highly recommend that you ask Biowware/EA to allow for the rosters to do that.
