Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

Can we get a new option on the event availability drop down menu? The new option should be "unavailable". Currently the closest option is "cancelled" but that is misleading as it implies the person had previously signed up but changed their status. Thanks.
Cheers,

Let me see what Aaron thinks. One question - Why? It a sign up, why would they sign up to say they are "not available"? If others want this please post here, more voices to convince Aaron its a good idea.
P.S. please do not take my question wrong, I ask it for detail and info :)

I'm going to have to agree with you Sandy. I'm not going to sign up for an event to tell folks I'm 'unavailable'. I might post a comment at the bottom of the event to let everyone know that I had really wanted to go but due to a scheduling conflict would be unavailable. I wouldn't actually signup even if an 'unavailable' option was available. Just my two cents tho

Or maybe have the option to disallow certain status such as "unavailable" and "tentative"?

Fingers of Fury!
I have to ask why as well. Why would players need to sign up to an event as unavailable. It seems that by not signing up, they are letting the rest of the group know they won't be attending by default.
Although more options to customize the sign ups is always good. I'm still waiting on character classes to be made available.
Edit: just noticed that DDO Classes have been added. Nice Job!

Occasionally a key player whom we normally would expect to see participating on certain evenings is unable to attend. It would be convenient for the member to merely indicate that they are unavailable that evening (rather then canceled which is inaccurate) and the guild can then plan around that absence with enough heads up. I am passing this due to complaints from active members, not guild leadership. This is for the convenience of the members though should also be of interest to guild leadership.
I should think that this is a simple fix and does not impact on other guilds too much, if any. It is just another option on the drop down. You may not see much value in it but others may.

Cogs

I would like to revisit this request for the status of "Unavailable" and also request a status of "Locked Out".
Our guild raids 5 to 7 nights a week and runs multiple events of varying levels of difficulty on some days.
It can be challenging for leaders to keep up with every character's lockouts while balancing key roles across multiple events.
Proactive members can help leaders by marking themselves as locked out or unavailable so there is no doubt the member just forgot to signup for an event he or she normally supports or accidentally missed an event while signing up for multiple events.
If your guild does not seem to need it, good on you. This however has been asked for several times by our members and leaders.
Thank you for the consideration,
Cogs
