Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

Becoming Adept!
After poking through the FAQ and searching several forums on "Welcome Message" I was unable to find an answer to my problem. If one exists please point me in the right direction.
I wanted to use the Welcome Message on our home page with Guild Portal however it always has a white background. There's an option to change the background color when editing the page but it only changes background where there is text. Since our background isn't white on the page it's very peculiar to have all the rest of the rest of our text boxes using #1c1c1c as the background but our welcome message being a big white square with white text on a dark colored background.
I think it's easier just to see what I mean so I saved a small portion of a screen shot of it here:
http://www.axiomfiles.com/Files/311738/welcome.JPG
The top half is what everything else looks like
The bottom half is the top portion of our welcome message.
After a lot of poking around and experimenting I am entirely unable to get rid of the white background.
What am I missing? IS there a way to change it?

There used to be a strip format option in box edit. I remember long time ago I had the same problem, and this fixed it.
Anyways did you try creating a new welcome box?

You could switch to HTML view (at the bottom, the <> HTML button) and strip out anything that changes the background color. That'd be a temporary work-around, but for sure the editor shouldn't be doing that, so I'll take a look.
Oh, and was that welcome message text originally pasted in from something else? Word or something?

I had this problem and discovered the extra span and div tags causing the white background. In my case, I created the text in the Wysiwyg editor then copy/pasted from one access level to another. This seems to cause the editor to add the extra tags. I now know to copy/paste the HTML itself.

I'm not sure if it's the same problem as I had, but all my links had a white background.
I went to Style Tools/Content Boxes/ then you choose your back color.
