We need another access level added between public and associate so that we can see when that person is online in the who's online section

I'd love to have another access level where associate type people can add thier names to the roster.

Man we need this feature.

Add a few more access types above and below member.   Whether or not they are custom or fixed, I don't care.

Please give us this feature Aaron.

Thanks!

It would be really helpful !
This way if we have two alliances, we can set one alliance group to see a set of forums and the other to see another group.

Plus, I would like to have a setting for guests, associates, alliance guild, Officers, leaders, super admin

Genghis,

First you have to understand many guilds are set up with many strata.  If I want an Officer forum, a Class Leader Forum, a Champion forum, and a members forum, how do I go about doing that in the current structure.

Making them all members does not help.

Guess we dont have custom access rights then =(

Im chairman of a triumvirate of leaders and i wanted to make a leaders lounge, availible only to the three leaders, but without giving super admin to other leaders, who occasionaly change if not up to the task.

Getting Started!

Yeah...this would be absolutely wonderful.

I think this would actually help make things less complicated for most people.  As I have custom ranks for my guild, it's a bit of a pain to have to explain to everyone, "Ok...so if you're THIS on WoW, you'll be called THIS on the guild site.  But if you're THIS, then..."  Etc., etc...

Then with custom ranks, the next obvious step would be group admin rights.

I've never seen a platform like this (be it forum, content management, etc...) that made you assign rights to each individual user, one at a time...  (I'm not trying to be a jerk, mind you...I like the site...but I really think it's behind the times in this aspect)
