I am trying to upload a pdf file from my computer via File Manager (like I do pictures) and it just won't do it.  The file is not large at all.  I need the pdf "stored", so my guild can view the document.

I know I am missing something insanely simple here...how do I do this?

Thanks,

Sho

Hi, Have you gotten it uploaded?  As for the filing showing you would have to lave a link to the upload PDF will not show up like a picture so they user would have to click the link to see it.

Hopefully, the original poster has resolved their issue by now.  I had the same issue as well, so am adding my resolution.  I attempted to upload PDFs using the File Manager.  I didn't receive an error message, but the file did not upload.

To upload a PDF, go to the Library and create a new article.  One of the icons in the article WYSIWYG will be a small document with a red paperclip.  Click that and it will open the Document Manager.

You will be able to upload the following types of files using the Document Manager.  The file will be available through the File Manager after the initial upload.

File extensions:
  • .doc
  • .docx
  • .pdf
  • .txt
  • .xls
  • .xlsx

The maximum file size is 2.19MB.
