Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to
this post

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

You are now able to specify an end date/time for events, either through the event editor or by viewing the events in weekly agenda view (on the regular, large Calendar widget) and dragging the bottom of the event to a different end time. Note that you can also drag and drop events on the calendar to change days or start times, as well.
The Events List widget, when placed in the center of a page, will now display much like the full calendar, except with only the current week displayed.
Icons for custom event categories will now display at 16x16 pixels, instead of 12x12.
The File Manager has been cleaned up a bit, and multi-file uploads are back. In addition, auto-optimization of JPG images has been improved quite a bit. If you've tried it in the past and were disappointed with the image quality, give it another try!
The Quests widget now lists categories as a selection, instead of just dumping the full list of quests. Got pretty messy there for active questing guilds.

I can't upload files now... I was just trying to upload a css file and it appeared to work, but it's not showing up in my file area.
Edit: Just tested it on Firefox, Chrome and IE and none of them are working.

It looks interesting, the new calendar widgit format, but towards the end of the week all it's going to showcase is events that have already past, and none of what's coming up in the next few days. This doesn't help much at all. Visually better but FAR less functional than it was before. where it just plain listed the next 5 events.
The CURRENT day should always be on the left with the next 6 days spread out to the right.

Mottie, is it just the CSS file type that it's not taking? Meaning, are you able to upload other things, like images? Regardless, I'm going to add the CSS extension to the list of allowed ones (blunder on my part), but I just wanted to make sure other file types are working for you.

Oy! The whitelisting approach is a pain, neh? Getting ready to deploy the patch -- thanks for taking the time to list all of those!

Just wanted to ask if perhaps there was some way we could get a toggle to at least go back to the old way of events display.
For example. right now, we have three events scheduled. One one monday, one on tuesday, and one on thursday.
Unless people actually click on the MAIN calendar (which most people WILL NOT DO), there's NO way to see those event listing until Sunday Morning. The Monday event will get about 1 day's notice for some people, and two days for the tuesday event. The thursday event will get at least 4 days of notice, but by the time it rolls around, the past Monday and Tuesday events will still be up there.
There's almost no purpose in showing past events. I have no desire to advertise them , let people know about them or promote them in any way. The old listing showed the next 5 events. It didn't matter if they were three days out, three weeks, or three months. The next 5 events. Now, the most I can display events is 6 days out, and that's ONLY if they're on a friday or a saturday. I might be able to get 20 events to show up, if they're all in the same week, of it i have no events that particular week, it might show nothing at all, even though my next week is chock full of events.
This new system is actually making it harder for me to get information out to my guildies about events. I know that this little calendar looks better than the static list. I get that. But polish only goes so far. Too many websites are ignoring function in favor of form, and this is a grade A example of it.

Nice updates
.
One thing though, the rest of us, who lives in the civilised world, doesn't use AM/PM and 12 hour cycles, and we use SI units too!
Could you add an option for showing times in a better way, per guild is enough, please? (And yes, it is actually a better way!)
