Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to
this post

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

Quite a lot going out with tonight's code push:
Cookies! We're not sharing them, though. You can have the rest of the stuff on the list. They're soft and gooey, by the way.
Sent items will correctly display read/unread status moving forward.
The topic tools drop-down menu will now work correctly for all items.
The WYSIWYG editor will no longer strip out script tags when moving between Design and HTML modes. Keep in mind that it
will
strip out script tags if you are not editing an administrative-level item, such as a welcome message or Freeform Custom HTML box.
Forum searching will no longer only search the first forum in the drop-down list. In fact, the drop down list has been tossed into the back of a van and... well... we probably won't hear from it again. By default, forum searches now cover all forums the user doing the searching has access to.
The web-based mail center has had the UI updated some.
Problematic text in the descriptions of members contained in the GPHelper LUA file should now .. not be problematic.

Neat feature, but it's not 100% accurate.
There are the key word "website" in our guild forums that do not show up. However it did show up with the old drop down search feature.

Hi Aaron, please implement a menu where you can search for threads. It's become quite tedious now.

I can add Author, but the Content part is waiting on me to add full text indexing to that posts table on our instance of SQL Server 2008, and the population of that index is likely something that's going to grab every single core from every processor in that beast of a box, since there are (good God, just checked this) 28,682,027 posts that it'll need to index. So it's a non-peak time for sure, possibly actual, longer-than-15-seconds downtime.
Lemme do some research on how long a data set that large would take to process on the kind of box SQL Server is sitting on.

Hi Guppy --
You mean as opposed to searching the message titles, like it does now? Also, a menu? Instead of the text box? I don't follow.

Since there are Mail UI updates listed, I guess I'll post this here.
If I go to Mail > Sent Messages and try to click on a message to view it, it does not work. It seems to reload the page like it's trying to display it, but that does not happen (in Firefox). When I use IE it sends me to the homepage, which is more odd.
So you can see if the links are correct here they are.
URL for Sent Items page
http://drivenbydistraction.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=268085&TabID=2251152&Folder=Sent&ShowInbox=1
Link URL for a specific sent message
http://drivenbydistraction.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=268085&TabID=2251152&SMsgToView=1081158
The SMsgToView variable seems to be correct for attempting to view a sent message.
I've tried this through multiple guild site's mail link to see if it was just some code on my own guild's pages, but it does not seem to work regardless of what site I'm on.
