10: What is your /played on your character: 22 days, 21 hours.
11: Do you have any exceptional alts you play?: None of my alts have an overwhelming amount of gear, if that is the perception of exceptional in this case.
12: Are you the original owner of your account?: Yes.
13: How soon are you available to transfer?: ASAP.
14: Show us a picture of your UI in a raid: http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u112/Adaelyn/WoWScrnShot_031611_233533.jpg
This is from late March, it has been cleaned up slightly since then but I have no current screenshots in a raid setting.
This might be a little better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dp9rAC_X_t8
I know this isn't a difficult fight obviously, but I felt it would give a bit more insight into my UI rather than just my screenshot.

16: Previous Raiding Experience(brief summary of your experience and time spent with each raiding guild):
No notable experience in Burning Crusade. Only made it partially through BT while raiding as a warlock.
Cleared most content aside from Immortal and Light of Dawn throughout WotLK. Tanked as a death knight during Naxx and early Ulduar. Rerolled Horde and played a DPS DK through the end of Ulduar and ToC into early ICC. Switched over to a resto druid during late ICC. Split into a 10 man guild prior to Cata release and switched to my resto shaman. When resto shamans proved to be underwhelming during our early HM attempts, I switched to my priest with the support of my guild.
17: What is and how well can you play your offspec?(every class has an offspec/alternate spec): Holy is my main offspec. I feel have a thorough knowledge of the playstyle and have switched to it on many occasion. I provided a log for this.
18: How well can you play your trispec?(only for those that apply): I know the stat priorities and rotations for shadow in case ever needed, but I have never played it in a raiding environment. I’d prefer to sit for a dps unless there was just an encounter where shadowpriests proved to be absurdly OP.
19: Do you have a computer capable of handling 25 man raiding?: Yes.
20: Do you have a stable internet connection?: Also, yes. AT&T has proven to be quite satisfactory.
21: Do you have Ventrilo?: Of course.
22: Do you have a mic and are you capable of communicating on vent if needed? Yup.
23: Our official raiding times are 6:00 pm PST to 11:00 pm PST Tuesday through Thursday, can you consistently make a majority of our raids? (90%+) If not, why not?:
I currently work until 6pm PST on Tuesdays, making my ETA 6:30pm on that day, but I am willing to change that upon being accepted. The other days would be a non-issue. I strive for 100% whenever possible.
24: Do you have a problem with occasionally sitting if needed? (IE: Raid Comp Stacking): I have no problem with this whatsoever.
25: What are your current professions, and why have you chosen them?: Currently my priest is an alchemist/scribe. She was originally an alt, which was my reason for becoming a scribe. Who wants to grind rep on an alt unless necessary? Its bonuses are equal to that of other professions, so I saw no reason to change it when she became my main. Alchemy has always been one of my favorite professions. It provides an int boost and the convenience of long flasks.
26: If you have a profession that is not beneficial to raiding, would you have a problem with leveling one that is?: Of course. I have leveled every profession, some a multitude of times. I have no problem with switching to min/max.
27: What is your reason for leaving your last/current guild?: It saddens me to leave my current guild. These people are not only my guildmates, but also my friends. We have played together for a couple years now. However, for the past few months we have struggled to put a raid together. We have a 10 man roster for 10 man raids. This means, when one person doesn’t bother to show up to raids, we are forced to call it for the night. Many people are losing interest in the game and we’ve struggled to even clear farm content for the past month. Personally, I play this game to raid and I have informed them that if this is no longer our intent, I would be moving on.
28: What is your reason for wanting to join Defenestrate?: I have no outstanding reason for this guild in particular. I want a stable server with good raid times and a focus on progression. This guild has all those things and from what I’ve seen at a glance, it has a personality I would enjoy.
29: Tell us, in >>NO LESS THAN<< 50 words, why we would benefit from having you with us. Make sure to emphasize on the following points: reliability, awareness, ability to listen to and to follow orders, and your tolerance to (sometimes harsh) criticism.
I am reliable. I strive for 100% attendance whenever possible. I show up to raid prepared, knowing strategies and packing the necessary mix of consumables. I strive to mix/max whenever possible, though I will admit I could be lacking because I have been able to slack with my current guild. I am ALWAYS open to constructive criticism because I love to improve my playstyle and healing. I can also handle the not-so constructive criticism just as well. Any faults you may find and point out throughout this application process, I would be glad to hear about so that I can improve on them.
30: Please provide a RELIABLE way to contact you other than your in-game character name. We do not enjoy and will not play detective in order to contact you about your application.(AIM / MSN / Email / Xfire / etc.):
Foreveremail@example.com = My MSN email. I’m signed on at all time VIA my phone so I imagine this would be the most reliable way to reach me.
31: Do polar bears eat penguins?? Explain your reasoning.:
While the polar bear may consider a penguin to be a delicious snack, it wouldn’t know first hand considering they live on different hemispheres.
Tell us about yourself, the more the better:
As I said in the beginning, my name is Heather but I prefer to be called Alex. I am a college student and I work full time at Target as a Merchandising Brand Team Member. My job requires a certain amount of OCD. I spend most of my time gaming, my recent distractions outside of WoW being League of Legends, Atlantica and Pokemon: Black. I love loud music and good books. I am currently drinking a mix of Kraken spiced rum, orange juice and pineapple chunks and I have to admit, I’m not very sober at this moment. Look forward to hearing your feedback.
