Demonsbane is back Online!

You have entered the page of demonsbane.

We're a friendly guild in World of Warcraft, located on the European Quel'Thalas server.

We're basicly a bunch of people, who have fun and helping each other. Furthermore, we want to focus on creating a stable and tight community, as well as recently trying to get enough dedicated lvl 80s to raid ICC.

Please feel free to browse our site and contact our members while logged in World of Warcraft, to find out more about us.

Also if you decide to deposit a popular item in the guild bank (often refered to as 'GB') please try to put it on the website too

If u decide to register, please use the same name as in the game. (if possible) thanks.

when you done regisering, your self, send a mail, with your name of your char, to fwirrel or elurin (in here). So you can get you promotion, and get setup for the page.

                 
 

Rules & Ranking 
GUILD RULES:
Not alot really, just be a generally nice person and talk a bit and you'll do fine.
Ranksystem:
By entering this page, you are well on your way to get your first promotion.
only by registering :)
But more work is needed to get further promotions.

In general there are three things which will give you a promotion in ranks.

Attendance: The guild would be a mess if no one turned up to events so if you consistently turn up to events you can get ranked up
Helpfulness: every one sometimes find them self in need of help. wheather it´s information, or help to finish a quest or some other thing. The best plase to find that help is among the guild members (we help each other). The more you help other members the more highly will you get a rank promotion.

Donation: The guildbank are allways happy to receive a donation of money. (but dont be to eager to donate all your gold for a promotion. you will need it your self later, thats for sure) The same is, if you have a item or two which you can spare, feel free to put it in GB too, depending on the items rarity and how usefull it is, it Might perhaps give a promotion.

The Ranks are as following:

Guild Master: The head of guild. Unattainable

Illidan Slayer: 999g daily available from GB. Second in command. Only GM can make that promotion
                        The guild masters most trusted members, ready to take over the ledership if needed
High Chosen: 15g daily available from GB. Higher Council menber.
                       This rank has the same as below, but allso come with solutions, or take part in try to get to the solution.
                       In other word They are active at the meeting.

The Chosen: 10g daily available from GB. Lower Council member.
                      They show up when invited to the councilmeeting (if they can of couse)
                      Do not mees around, but are serious. this meeting is not for fun, its for making the guild work.
                      So from this rank, you get inveted, to participate to make the decitions of the guild.
Grim Reaper: 5g daily available from GB

Hellsbane: 4g daily available from GB

Devilbane: 3g daily available from GB

Slayer: 2g daily available from GB.

Scout: 1g daily available from GB

Initate: New members checking out the guild, may stick around or move along.

Medals:
Recently I have introduced a new medal system whereby, by doing certain things for the guild you can attain a certain icon next to your name on the website.
So here are the medals you can get
Grim Reaper: join 10 guild dungeon raids                           (1)
Gatherer      : give 50 items to the guild bank                     (1)
Attender      : attend 10 guild events                                   (1)
Bodyguard   : help 10 guild members                                  (1)
Diplomat      : invite 10 people to the guild                          (1)
Demonsbane:get all the medals shown above      (0)
 the numbers shown indicate the importance of the medal and how much gold you get for acheiving it:
1=40 gold
0=50 gold, and a place in the hall of fame

Tabard designing contest!

Due to Cataclysm we really need to get a nice tabard up and running and so I am setting up this contest to see if anyone can think up a better one.
    Idealy a tabard entry would have the following;
        1) Look good
        2) have directions on how to get to the icons on the tabard (e.g. border is 5 clicks away from former             tabard border)
        3) Image would link somehow to DB (though this is optional)

First place will get a rank up, their Private note edited by yours truely and a monetary reward

I'd appritiate any entries and send ur stuff via website mail to me,

Some told me the didnt know how to register on the page.

All at top of the page, are there a commandline (or what its called)
named: "[New User]" click that and follow the guide showed om page, all it want is some info filled.

If you allready are registered to guildportal,  just use "join Demonsbane"

And please at least fill one char name too.

today i got a whisper from a lvl 1 with the message: 

 Hi! You have become a Blizzard lucky player, 3 days later you'll get a surprise gift of the mysterious, registered address: Hi!Blizzard is about to launch a new mounts,Free trial,For more information, please log in :www.EUwow-blizzard.com

I checked the page, and it ask for your secret question and password.

It look very much like blizzards, but somehow i dont think it belong to blizzard. DONT FILL THE FORM. Reapeat: DO NOT FILL THE FORM

I have reported it to a GM. And they confirm that it is a scam.
