Scheduled Maintenance: Wednesday, February 13th

All Turbine Game Servers and http://myaccount.turbine.com will be offline for global maintenance on Wednesday, February 13th. We anticipate the downtime to last 12 hours, and our tentative start time is 4:00 AM Eastern (-5 GMT).

Important: The forums and wikis will remain up during the maintenance, but will be read-only. To receive the latest news and updates, please check our Facebook and Twitter feeds during the maintenance window. As a reminder, you do not need to join or sign in to those social networks to read the updates.

Tues/Thursdays mornings are my last remaining bastion of un-interrupted play time Oh well, Eayn can still hit 85 before he turns 5.

You will have seen that the downtime has now been extended for up to 24 hours in total until Friday morning 6am Eastern, so no meeting in the Realm today ...

After initial assessment, they restimated (before taking it down) that it was going to be a longer window. They just announced they are at 45% complete. They also confirmed it is not a hardware update. It's backend stuff like billing, customer service tools etc. I think the Hot Fix was the best thing they will have done for those with lag and link deads. I don't expect this outage to improve game performance based on what I am reading.
