Hello!

I am here to remind everyone that The Inklings have a MyLotro page. I have tried to give the posts there a distinctive personal feel to them, so as not to take away from the resources and information we have here on the website. The following is the most recent post you will see there:

If anyone would like to know what makes The Inklings truly special, tonight at The Culling Pit was an excellent example.

The event was organized by Gilirwen, and we had nearly a raids worth of folks show up. Not all 75s, mostly it was 66-73. We took who wanted to go. I also want to mention that no one else from outside the kin showed up, if a group had shown up wanting The Pit we would have gotten Phase 1 done and then moved on.

We took it to another level. Not only did we do Phase 1 for everyone (and alts) that needed it for the deed, we completed the cycle for everyone! All 4 battles were completed for about 10 total characters!

What really hit me though was how we did it. We had one 6 man group actively completing the quests, and then 4-6 folks hanging back as backup heals, power givers, and extra dps. We got one group through, then moved on to the next, moved on to alts. We had a few deaths in the final battle, so we went back and did that battle again. Never was it someone wanted to leave because they were done, it was "We're all here to get it done for everyone."
