Bound By Honor
The primary function of this and/or any clan is to promote gamesmanship, foster camaraderie, the spirit of fair play and mostly have fun.
In the spirit of the above the following rules apply to any and all members of Clan
The follow rules of Conduct apply:
Foul language is not acceptable, it is a known fact that we know and have
been exposed to it and can speak/type it.
The game is an arena accessible to many ages and both genders, it is un-
gentlemanly/ladylike and mostly unnecessary. If you lack the skills to
communicate your displeasure without "cussing" feel free to ask, at the most
expand your vocabulary.
PK for the sake of it is not acceptable as you expose yourself to the possibility of loss. Dropping equipment is not uncommon if defeated and develops for the clan the reputation as bullies. There are plenty of arenas available for Player vs. Player demonstrations of skill, ability and "machismo". You can however defend yourself to the utmost of your ability and if other clan members are available can/will assist.
Botting involves no skill on behalf of the player and demonstrates only your
ability to program your computer to do your dirty/tedious work for you and is
not acceptable. The concept of "two-boxing" however is as it involves
additional skill to monitor two players/computers at the same time and when
all is said and done, the player is still the key.
There is no time per day/week/level requirement, there will be however
organized events to build camaraderie/teamwork. These can/will help
clan members to level and/or "farm" for particular items. Members need not
attend each and every one of these as we know/hope real life goes on outside
the game.
Scamming is not even remotely acceptable in any manner shape or form as it
reflects poorly on yourself and the concept of honor. There is no harm in
taking advantage of a good deal if you can find one however.
6. Violation of any of the above could be cause for dismissal from the clan.
In the event of reports of violations of any of the above, you will be given an
opportunity to present your case before the clan leader.
If someone else uses your account you are liable for their actions. If they
violate any of the above you will bear the consequences.
A one month probationary period is adequate to discover if the applicant and
the clan are a fit. At the end of that month you will be given the opportunity
to quit the clan or be granted privileges in creating your clan title. Title rights
will be granted at this time.
Past experience has shown that recruits often join a clan ask for assistance (adena, weapons, attire) them promptly quit in effect ripping off clan members
so for that trial period assistance in those areas is by offer.
Due to very limited assets, and to preclude problems requests for financial
assistance are considered on a case-by-case basis.
As with all things too many rules limit fun, common sense applies in all matters. If in doubt ask.
Welcome and Good Luck in game!!!
