It was our people's darkest hour. While a brave few fought to protect what we held dear, most of us did the only thing we could. Watch. Watch as everything we knew, our whole living was ripped away, and as the only life we knew, dissappeared forever. We were overcome with sadness coupled with anger for those who formerly led our people, as they allowed their lust for power move them to acts of genocide.

   The Burning Legion, accompanied by our former commrades marched to destroy our world, it certainly not to be the last in a series of dark conquests. Black energy enveloped Aldor, and as many as those who embraced that energy and used it for evil, were those innocents adversely affected by the after effects of this sinister power.
 
   We witnessed so many of our friends and family changed into something lesser, many begging for a release through death. We had nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, and just as the same fate had almost befallen us, a ray of hope appeared in beings we had never before layed eyes upon. The Naaru they called themselves, as kind as they were beautiful to behold. They offered us escape in exchange for our aid in their struggle against a common foe - The Burning Legion.

   When asked how we, a peaceful people could aid in fighting against such a terrible foe, they answered that they would guide us to become the herald of an unstoppable force which they deemed: "The Army of The Light". As we had nowhere else to turn to, we gladly accepted their proposal, and with them we left Aldor to search for a new home.

   Unfortunately, some of us, myself included, had been exposed far too long, and in too close proximity. The same changes we had seen in our friends was soon to befall us, and it seemed they could not be undone. We turned to our recuers, albeit reluctantly as we felt they had already given us far too much. Hope again endured. A magic was devised that could be ingested, a sort of cure for the condition we came to call "broken".

   We were instructed on how to produce it ourselves, and told that although it supressed the effect of the "broken", the condition was unfortunately irreversable, and that we would have to continue to take "The Cure" for the duration of our lives.

   Those of us who found ourselves in this situation feel particularly indebted to that Naaru who gave us the ability to go on living in relative normality. It called itself An'jel, and told us that we, although, and perhaps because we had to struggle with this thorn in us, could be a major aid and perhaps primarchs of a sort in the forming of "The Army of The Light", the only condition being that our actions in this course must be motivated by love, and a desire to serve others before ourselves.

   All of us, grateful for the aid rendered to us, answered resoundingly that we would accept this generous offer. An'jel played a key role in searching for aid in the forming of this force for good. He said that henceforth we would be called by his name, that we would be called "Anjels". Then, just as we had found solace within eachother, An'jel told us that it was our inevitable destiny to be seperated, but that we would once again unite. Now I tirelessly seek for those like me, those deserving ones, whose sole desire is to see the designs of the Naaru to fruition, and I shall continue to search untill every last Anjel is found, and the pact is sealed.
