Raid Experience*: A: I raided up through Sindragosa 10 and Putricide 25 on my druid with Citadel. Q. Previous guilds and reasons for leaving (include reason for wanting to leave current guild if applicable)*: A: Citadel, the guild disbanded about a month ago. Q. What would your previous Guild Master or Raid Leader say about you? If you are comfortable listing this toon's name, please do so. A: It was Magdan, who is no longer on this server. She would say that I am extremely competent, always on time and prepared, and fun to have in Vent for jokes, as well. Q. We currently raid on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 7-10 server and may go over 1 hour depending on progression. What is your availability?* A: I'm available for all of it. Q. Are you willing to act as a subsitute, as necessary, until a regular raid spot opens up? A: Depending on how long a wait I can expect, yes. Q. We use a silent bidding DKP system to distribute loot giving priority to a members main raiding toon's main spec. Do you have any issues using DKP? If so, what?* A: None. Q. In your own point of view, please explain why you want to raid with Legatum Ignavis. Include where you think progression and content, gear, fun, and the experience of being successful all fall on your personal priority list and why.* A: I want to raid with Legatum because I like to raid with good people, who are also skilled at the game. Given your guild's achievements, you clearly know your characters and can progress through the game. But, as I say, simply killing bosses doesn't necessarily do it for me. I also want to enjoy the people I spend the time with on vent every night, so your charter insisting that people have fun and respect other players (both in and out of Legatum) is a big selling point for me. Certainly, I do my homework and know my class and gear is important for me. Having said that, I'm most interested in the raid progressing, so I take pieces I really need and tend to skip pieces that represent a minor upgrade for me if they represent a much bigger upgrade to another raid member. At the end of the day, the best way for me to see as much content as I can is to have the entire raid as well geared as possible. Q. What do you expect from us as a guild?* A: Pretty much for you to be what you sell yourselves as. Dedicated to having fun while seeing as much end game content as possible. Q. What should we expect to see from you?* A: Someone that enjoys the game, that shows up for raids on time, that helps his guildmates, and that likes to have fun and make jokes to keep things loose. Q. Assume we are planning to go up against a raid boss you/we have not successfully downed. What will you do to prepare yourself for this fight before and during the raid?* A: I'd probably first go to bosskillers to read the strat, then go to youtube to see if there are any videos of the encounter. I'd also check EJ (though I do that regularly, anyway) to see if there are any rogue-specific tips for that particular fight. We use the forums to discuss strategies and to deal with guild business. Are you willing to be an active participant in our web forums?* A: yes Do you have Ventrilo and a microphone available?* A: yes During progression we may hit a wall and come across several wipes. We expect all raiders to have the gold for repairs and maintain a positive attitude if wipes occur. Are you able to do both?* A: We once spent 3 hours wiping on Rotface without a kill at the end of the night. After that, wiping and repairs seem relatively minor. Did anyone refer you to us? Real Life/In Game/Recruitment Spam? A: Nope Do you have any Wow Web Stats links? A: I don't unfortunately. Is there any additional information you would like to share? RL stuff like job, free time outside of WoW, family, pets, prescription (or non-prescription) medications your taking, etc. A:Admittedly, the character is slightly undergeared at the moment. (With only my "Flask of the North" buff up, I do about 3200 dps on the target dummy). This character was an alt in my Citadel days, as I was the resto druid. Truth be told, I'm a bit burned out on healing -- it has been 3 years -- and would like to build up this 'toon into a main. I raided with a rogue briefly in vanilla days, and find it more relaxing and enjoyable (if less exciting) than raid healing. I am a grad student. While that means that my schedule is generally more flexible than the average person's, there are nights -- and sometimes who weeks -- where I'll be forced to significantly cut play time. In particular, I have prelims in May and will likely be taking a 2-week WoW break when those come.
