Hello everyone, welcome to our guild's real world home! Following is some general information about our guild, that should answer most questions.

Who are we?

Enlightened Dark is a long running guild that traces its roots back to Ultima Online actually. Some of our European brothers and sisters as well as the old troll (thats me) and many of our current officers and members got together in EQ1 and formed the guild. We had a very successful run on Tarew Marr, and pretty much had every server first. Eventually the time came to close the doors on Everquest 1, and we moved to EQ2, a bit late, but none the less have risen to be a respected and accomplished raid guild on Unrest server.

With that said, while we enjoy EQ2 (and WoW) some of us are ready for a bit of change. Thats where Vanguard comes in.

What are the goals in Vanguard?

The number one goal of ED is to have fun. That never changes. We expect that we will have a competitive guild, no doubt. But the fun comes in the accomplishments for many of us. We take our gaming seriously, but we have had a long running saying that "real life comes first" and that has never changed. The good thing though is, most of our players are able to arrange their real life to fit with their gaming hobby, and spend the required time and effort in game to accomplish what is needed for success.

So with that said, we fully expect to be competitve. We have a deep player base built up over the years, and many old friends will be rejoining us.
