In war, more than in any other endeavor, common sense dictates a “win by any means” attitude. Yet, throughout history the greatest warriors have always held themselves to codes of honor. Codes like Chivalry and Bushido, which restrain them from excessive and brutal actions against their enemies. They exercise voluntary restrictions in times of war — including wars against ruthless terrorists and murderers who follow no such code. History reminds us that “stepping over the line” has far-reaching consequences, and hold an important message for anyone who thinks going beyond the borders of ethics is harmless in the realms of battle.  

We are at war, and we will fight in accordance to our codes of ethics. For a Knight of the Blood and Honor, this code of honor holds the warrior to a higher ethical standard than required for an ordinary citizen within the general population of Norrath. This code is not imposed from the outside, we ourselves police strict adherence to these standards; with violators being shamed, ostracized, or even killed by their peers.

Qeynos or Freeport.  Kelethin or Neriak.  Our views are not based on Good or Evil nature.  We hold no ties to any city or nation.   As knights we do not require you to adjust your fealty to any nobility you serve, but instead require you to act with honor in your endeavors.
