I am delighted to announce we have our first- I think, someone please correct me if I'm wrong- SoE guild clear of Naxx 10.  We got some great gear drops and had a rockin time.  We do have screenshots, I will get them up later. After I have more coffee.  A LOT more coffee.

Murph: MT, and the calm voice of 'how do we do this fight? we kill it'
Bern: OT, Heals, and Faceripping DPS.  All hail dual-spec.
JonCrew: Heals, Boomchicken, and posessor of a shiny new tier piece
Ballanarr:  Heals, delightful wipe on KT by getting caught outside the gate, weeping as all the clothie caster stuff dropped
Boheme: heals, and posessor of shiny new tier legs if I recall correctly.  Bo also now has the EoE10 key
Pincerbottom: no fist weapon off of KT, but a shiny new dagger and sweet dps
Demonious: the lucky winner of every piece of dps/tank plate that dropped, and tear it up DPS
Tronn:  Valiantly tried to play through a heinous, heinous storm and horrible connection.  Got some sweet new shoulders before mother nature slapped him around too much.
Shazier: Kindly stepped in for Tronn and brought sweet facemelting.  And got a wand! And some other stuff too iirc.
Jesaide: Great soulstone tagteaming with Shaz, monster dps, and winner of a very, very nice tier headpiece.
Haelmari: I made strudels, stood around and looked cute, and got a headpiece in return. 

This was a continuation of Thursday's plague clear.  We cleared military, spider, and construct with one shots on all save the Instructor.  Saph and KT were definite learning experiences; feel free to talk to any of those who cleared for hints and pointers on these fights.

So if you (cough poke) read the guild message, you may have noticed something about crafting week.  Many, many thanks to all who have farmed mats and thrown them in the bank. This weekend we'll craftapalooza. Here's a little more info on the week.

SoEers are absolute rock stars about making gear for one another.  The idea behind crafting week was to spread about the joys of farming mats, give everyone a chance to chip in, and help as many people as possible not only gear up but also level their professional skills.  Crafting Week is in no way a criticism that we don't do enough for one another- quite the opposite!  It's an attempt to help as many people all at once without overburdening folks.  There is no requirement you participate!

Who can participate?
    EVERYONE.  Gather mats at your level.  You can put mats in the Guild Bank or keep them and comment here (more on that in a bit).

What if I have a tradeskill I want to level?
   Comment here!  Folks, most of my brain space is taken up with children's television show theme songs and recipes and knitting patterns, I can't remember who's what.  Especially for our lowbies, if you're looking to level, please post- name, level of toon, level of skill, what things would level you.  This way we can try to point people who need gear towards you, rather than a level-maxed person.  We also have a thread in the forums for skills, please be sure you've updated.  As an example, Haelmari is maxed on JC, Callanarr is not- if someone needs gems cut and Calla has the pattern, I'm going to send them to her so she can level.   We will not diss you on making gear if there's no one on who would level from making it, we'll just have a skillmaxed person go ahead and make it!

I need certain gear.  Who do I talk to?
  Comment here and we'll try to hook you up.  Bring it up on gchat too.  We don't want to inadvertently leave anyone out.

Farming burns me like elven rope and even though I'm an 80 I'm a lamer and haven't skilled up my pro skills yo, so how can I contribute?
  Well, you could actually use this to level said skills.  If you're interested, you could also help run lowbies through areas to farm for mats, do runs to get greens to DE for enchanters to use, etc.

I have shiny new gear!  It has sockets!  But I'm not an 80, what do I do?
  We have a ton of green-quality cut gems in the bank, and plenty TO cut that folks can use for leveling.  You can socket northrend gems in 70 gear.  If you're still leveling to 80, please feel free to ask an officer to grab those green-level gems and get yourself blinged out.  It helps you and it helps make bank space.  Win win!

  Again, we have tons in the bank.  Check the gbank, ask an officer, or hit up an inscriber for shiny new glyphs for you.

You mean this doesn't cost money?
  As much as we can keep it from costing money, yes.  What it will take for sure is time- many people have mats spread across alts, so there might be some logon-logoff rhumba.  There are certain required mats- Dragon's Eyes for high level JC patterns, for instance- which either cost tokens or money, and once our JCs are bingo on tokens, we'll need to buy those off the AH.  We'll do our best to keep this as low cost as possible, and spread the mat burden around.

What if I miss crafting week?

    There are a couple of nice people in SoE who could be convinced to make stuff for you.  ;)

Nex has very, VERY generously offerred to help out anyone who is confused as to where to look for upgrades for their toon.  If you want a hand, feel free to email him and he'll help you out!

Two tanks enter, One tank leaves!

That's right, folks, in the next week or two we will be having a TANKOFF in Gadgetzan in the Mad Max cage of duelling!  We'll be either stripping or gearing each tank, so gaer won't mean an automatic win - this is a skill test, not a epeen contest.  At stake are some SWEET epic boots from Naxx25!  Everyone is invited - if not to participate, then to cheer and jeer.
