Welcome to the guild portal for Hordes Praetorian Guards.

We are a World of Warcraft horde guild active on the Aerie Peak (EU) server.

Hordes Praetorian Guards (HPG) is a social raiding guild that was formed in September of 2006. We raid mostly TBC and coming soon Northrend content with a view to progression.

We have 100+ members ranging from lvls. 1-70.

We have begun a joint-venture with the guild "Dark Element" to offer the members of both guilds a more focused levelling and raiding gameplay. See the information posts published in the news section below.

We have TBC content on farm along with OS and are currently clearing Naxx 10 man.

Our current raid days are Wednesday through Sunday - raids generally starting between 19:00-20:00 Game Time

Joint Venture Announced with guild "Dark Element"

HPG is now proud to announce a joint-venture cooperation between our guild and our new partners of the social levelling guild "Dark Element". As of January 1 HPG and DE will be cooperating to help each other with leveling of level 60 and below chars. in the guild DE while those of lvl. 70+ will be provided with a raid environment with HPG. DKP Points for Raid Attendance and Progression

I have for the moment put the DKP point system used to track raiding attendance on hold, pending more level 80:s participating in the Northrend heroics and Naxxramas runs.  
For the time being sign-ups for these raids will be based on gear and level fulfillments as judged by the raid leaders for the respective runs.
If we all want the DKP system back to help track raid attendance, I will implement it with the quick DKP add-on I used earlier.
You will find a more detailed explanation of how the old DKP system worked in our forums section in the topic "HPG Chat". Look for "DKP Points Explanation"

For those of you who have registered to this site, please navigate to our forums section, and go to HPG Chat. Navigate to the topic "How Our Raid System Works" and read the post. 

Raid Strategy Guide Published

I have now provided a forum for Raid Strategies and links for raids for Naxxramas as well as upcoming posts for the Occulus et.al.
Navigate to our forums section - and click on the topic "Raid Strategy Guides" for maps and boss strategies. 
In the "Useful Links" sections on this page you will find links to Gear and Spec. requirements for various raids, as well as your characters overall qualifications for said raids.
These forums will be updated on a regular basis based on among other things guild raid leader requests.
