We Need Your Help!

It seems like the turning of the new year has also brought to mind the history of this guild -- and the fact of the future also. 

We started out pretty small, really.  Just a couple of guys that were friends at work..their kids...their friends...and then we started picking up a couple people here and there in the game.  Even though this is all well and good, we really haven't grown much.

Sure, we're invited people in and helped them along.  A few have stayed but many have left -- which leaves me as a GM to always question "why?".  Is it the way the the guild is ran or what we do or do not focus on?  Would things like a guild bank make any difference?  Should we stay as a leveling guild or really work on being a leveling and raiding guild?

So this is where you, the guild members, get to have feedback.  If it weren't for you, there wouldn't be a guild and you have just as much say in things as anyone else.  Feel free to drop me a line in game or leave a comment on here on what you think should happen to this guild.  How would YOU like to see the guild change?

The Argonauts' ranks have been restructured as follow:
  • Tyronaut - levels 1-9
  • Argonaut - levels 10-19
  • Psychonaut - levels 20-29
  • Terrornaut - levels 30-39  (can invite to guild and promote)
  • Dreadnaut - levels 40-59  (can invite, promote, and demote)
  • Ubernaut - levels 60-70   (can invite, promote, demote, and remove)

This is a total positive for our guild!  If you have any suggestions or ways to improve or help out, let us know!

Welcome the Argonaut's new website!


If you're interested in joining the Argonauts or are wondering about us, let me give a small overview:


The Argonauts were birthed by two friends in Utah citing the Greek reference to Jason and the Argonauts.  After playing a few Alliance characters, they decided to try the Horde side.  Argonauts, another word for adventurous explorers, soon the small two man army came to include family, siblings, other work friends, and later quick recruits from the game itself!  The main-stay of this guild is that we are family-oriented and centered around helping guild mates out when we have a chance.  Our stance, at this time, is to be a leveling guild that can hopefully get the people and dedication to do some small time raiding.  With some time, we're hoping to make regular runs into the higher level instances and ultimately see everyone in the Burning Crusade!
