Welcome to the Amazons of Stranglethorn.

For countless ages, the Amazons of Stranglethorn Vale have been a tribe of strong women who lived deep in the heart of the Stranglethorn Vale jungle. Ruled over by a queen, an ancient line descended from the first Amazon, chosen of the spirits of the earth. The queen and her subjects, made of of priestess', warriors, hunters, mystics, and crafters, prospered.

However they were also constantly at war with the Hakkari Trolls, a bloody and unending conflict that lasted for as long as the Amazons kept a written history. In this recent age, the Hakkari finally achieved their goal of ending the Amazons, slaughtering them all except for one, Maki, daughter of the queen.

Now Maki has emerged from the jungles, taking the title of Queen Ravenwind, and she has set out to rebuild her tribe. She takes her numbers from the strong women of Azeroth, no matter their race or calling. Those women have sworn fealty to Queen Ravenwind, forming this new Amazon tribe. Now the Amazons of Stranglethorn work towards defeating the Hakkari, and retaking the ancestral home of the Amazons deep within Stranglethorn Vale.
