Certifiable..
Lastnight, Attumen went down like a house of cards, and the execution was pretty much flawless with the exception of the first pull. FEAR was not given it's name lightly. We recovered, applied correction and took care of Attumen and the horse he rode in on. Our next victim was Hyakiss the lurker. On the first pass (and first ever) we had him down to 25% when we got respawns. Next pass and after killing the adds again, he went down with little ease. We are looking forward to Certifiable's next victim on Sunday. 5-13-07Certifiable's third pass into Kara was a little disappointing but educational. We attempted to take down Moroes and his group of hinch men. Clearing the ball room was pretty easy along with his guests at dinner but Moroes was a little less willing to comply. We learned that Garrote hurts and you need some good BoP to cleanse it. CC is a must with this group and to make it successful, we will need either two priest or two hunters. With these undead numbers, our pally members and friends have been invaluable. We are going back at him again tonight and I'm sure his day will not be as pleasant as ours will be. It will be even better with more Certifiable members on hand. We went into this run with only 5. 5-14-07Lastnight was not much better for our attempts to put Moroes in his place. However, we did get a little closer than the previous attempts. We went in with 3 healers this time but by the time we learned our lessons, the spawns were back. Moroes made it a point to vanish and then hit the healers then slap a garrote on the MT. What might need to happen the next time is possibly Rogue tank the adds as both tanks keep on Moroes. This way when he vanishes, the next in line is another tank. Well, the instance was reset this AM and we will have to start from the beginning but we have that part down and it will be no time before we are back in Moroes face again. Get ready Mor, theres a storm coming for ya, Bud. 5-24-07We seem to be having a little trouble taking down Moroes, so far he has handed us our tails on a silver platter. We are making our way to him fairly easily it's just finding the correct pattern or perhaps the right combination of class and talents. We are still having to pug some critical components of the group such as priests and tanks. We have plenty of Hunters and Casters to get the job done it's just finding the right combination. We are going to try and mix it up a little on this Sundays run by cutting down on certain areas and increasing in others to try and find the sweet spot to get past Moroes. I feel that once we get the grove, he will be the same as Attumen and fall routinely. 5-27-07The beginning of the run started out a little iffy, We had only about 6 Certifiable members and the hopes of getting all the healers we needed was dwindling. No one was on. We finally went in with only two healers and the decision was made to skip Moroes and go straight to the animal boss. It was a quick run for a decent epic. We finished off the spider and bats mobs in pretty decent time but still fell short when the mobs started spawning. Just when we thought we were going to have to start clearing again, poof, out pops Hyskiss the lurker right on top of us. Good thing we are quick on our feet and are "just that darn good" cause we downed him in no time. The pug Feral Druid won the Defense belt that dropped. The night was called. 5-28-07MOROES FALLS to Certifiable.. This was the largest guild member run yet and it paid off in the end. Moroes is dead ! ! We had a pretty balanced group and some different tactic were tried. One of those was designed to give us more time on Moroes himself. We mapped out our plan and made mob assignments prior to starting the killin. Once the ball was rolling we were on the clock. We got to Moroes with 40 minutes to spare. The first pass wasn't that smooth due to loosing our healers fairly quickly so a reset was made, the next pass we lost our OT and a healer so another reset was made. Third pass was a little longer but a reset was needed there as well. With all these resets, we found mistakes and corrected them for a successful 4th run. It was like the stars aligned and the pieces fell into place, it went like it should have and the only death was Rig, due to a well placed Garrote from Mor. Loot was good to ol Bur, he got a really nice set of boots "Boots of Valiance". We snuck around a little and completed a quest then made a half hearted attempt at the Maiden of Virtue. We will make her Certifiable's.. next victim.
