Just thought I would stick my head in the main room of the Keep and say "hello".

I've recently submitted an app here for a potential cross server transfer. Whilst the app was fun and enlightening I thought it best I potentially iron out the kinks a little as I understand that if you just look at my erm "achievements" across Azeroth I may come across as a hardcore raider when infact I'm just someone who wants to enjoy the content among friends.

So raid wise I've been and done everything whilst current apart from Naxx (60 - trash fun, got one of only 2 Naxx epics for the guild I was in), AQ40 (60 - got half way....hated the place), Sunwell (70 - TK was merely a....huge blooming hurdle that kept us occupied far too long) and the current Cataclysm raids where the wheels feel off my raiding experience in my current guild. Highlight for me was scraping together the guild and creating a raiding team after not one but two splits and yet somehow we still cleared ICC10 (which was my goal....see the content) and infact did 10/12 on heroic too. Never got to finish my Shadowmourne however :'-(

Thats the boring by the numbers bit done....

In other news I've participated in RP events on my current non RP server. For example my warrior got married @ Stormwind Cathedral in an awesome guild and server event that first drew lots of mocking and then got lots of applause. The reason ? We advertised said event on the unofficial forums for the server, treated it with respect (my husband to be had a stag event in Feralas of all places which involved getting very drunk and parachuting from the highest points at the north of the zone....I didn't stalk him whilst on it....honest ) and generalyl encouraged the server to have a good time. Myself and my bridesmaids walked through Stormwind, I received random gifts in my mailbox, we exchanged gifts and rings (he got me the Cloudkeeper plate dps leggings and I got him a rare Libram) and we also had a reception in what is now the bank in the Dwarfen District but was an empty building back then). I'm forgetting something....oh yes the Horde organised a raid of Stormwind mid-event to disrupt the happy couple which we had nothing to do with. Not just any raid however.....a carefully planned "lets sneak warlocks into the catherdrals basement and summon people in" kind of raid. I am smiling now as we took our vows with orcs warriors flying above our heads as players mucked in to "save the bride". The feedback after the event was brilliant and well worth the gold (you do remember how hard it used to be to get gold right ?) and the effort behind it.

I've also got the basis of a back story hidden away of my current guilds forums where I started an RP thread which started brightly but then faded so the story still needs completing.

I take pride in my characters, each is named with reason too !

Raynestorm (Retribution Paladin) - I liked the Bloodrayne video game and it was raining when I created what was going to be my "healer in a can".
Shadowhart (Fury Warrior) - Comes from Shadowhearts on the PS2 and Bret "Hitman" Hart the wrestler.
Doceo (Resto Shaman) - Latin for "to learn" as I wanted to learn how to heal.
Revanche (Combat Rogue) - Character in the X-Men who was an assassin
Morgwen (Dwarfen Hunter) - Stumped me so I resorted to a Dwarfen name generator and this popped out which I really liked.
Kerrigan (Deathknight) - From Starcraft, plus the character in that game was kind of reborn too.

and my new baby here on Darkmoon Faire, Saoiste a human Hunter. Its olde irish for Ranger

I won't lie, I currently have a bitter taste in my mouth from the dark side of WoW (and a truly horrid guild eperience I won't detail here) and really want to find somewhere for my Paladin initially (I have no idea how server changes work....pretty sure you can't do entire accounts) to have fun again and enjoy the game. Yes I like to raid but there is more to me than that. I forget the amount of respecs I have done on the fly to help people. I've learned how to tank on a paladin....and heal....maybe not proficiently but good enough to get the job done for my friends. I'm also mature....eeck don't ask how old....and ready to contribute in any way I can.
