Prob best to just check guild list on who when you are on, I'm on most evenings (evenings for you that is) as its late here.  We raid most weekday evenings, perhaps you could join us on a couple of those this week, so far on calendar is shroud vod shroud on tuesday starting 7est and then I think hound and titan on wed... if we have space you are welcome to jump in those and see how we go, if not happy to set something else up too.
... its all in good fun until someone loses an eye!

Greetings,
my husband and me are currently looking for a nice bunch of people to have fun with in DDO. So far we fought our way through the dungeons on our own, we're now a lvl 12 ranger (Arom) and lvl 11 cleric (Suavitas Interitio). I've also got a little lvl 3 wizard (Calamitas). We would like to check out if we fit into STFU, so I sent a tell to a random member of yours I saw online, who turned out to be Jerra. Even though being in the process of reincarnation he/she gave me a quick briefing about requirements. If Jerra's reincarnation goes awry now and he/she is reborn as a frog, blame me. If anybody of you has got the time and feels like teaming up with us to see how we get along, we're usually online from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. GMT+1. Just send a tell once there's space in one of your teams or let me know who to contact in game - not that I produce more reincarnated frogs through random tells

G'day,

I've already applied but I thought I'd post this anyway just to give you a bit of an idea of who I am. I'll try to keep it short.

I am currently returning to DDO after a 2 year, 5 month, 2 week absence. I was originally a member of The Lucky Knights, before they became The Iron Phalanx. My last guild, The Salty-Demigods, seems to be inactive/disbanded and so I am looking for a new home.

I started playing pen and paper D&D in maybe '82 or '83. I started playing DDO day one but did not participate in the beta. Before I left I built up 8 characters to the level 14 cap (with 35 or so characters of other various levels over two accounts), got tired of waiting for new content and discovered that I had a life outside of the game. I decided to make a clean break and give up cold turkey.

What I would like to see on my return is if I can keep my playing to a safe level this time. Not the all consuming, life destroying quest for gold, favour and conquest that it was before. I think I might be kidding myself, but its worth a shot. I would like to find a place to hang my hat where I can help out my guild, relax and enjoy some good company while I try to see if there is a happy medium to be found.

I would also like to be upfront and say that I am very rusty. I've tried to get back into the swing of things before looking for a guild by leveling a couple of characters from scratch which seems to have helped.

I'm also Australian, so I have unusual playing times but on the plus side people seem to like the accent.

Here's hoping...

Hey man, I spoke to you randomly the other day! A few of our members remember you from way back on fernia... welcome back to the game.  Would be good to catch up with you in the game itself and run a few quests/get to know you kind of thing... rusty is fine lol, we are more about personality fits etc.  We also have a few aussies/other odd time players so that may suit you.  Please contact me in game when you are on and we'll try to sort something out to run with you etc.
