The basic components all function now. I need to add some more of the customized GW things like news icons, event types, etc, but all else now works.

We had a good time last night vanquishing The Ruptured Heart.  We had 7 OAKies and one of our new allies from EYE with us.  Great fun was had!  I hope we do as well next week!

Well...since nobody has added any news items for new character night, I guess I will.  We still don't have a strong leader for this motley crew of malcontents and misfits (I wonder how many of us would wind up on the isle of misfit toys).  However, in true OAK fashion, we did manage to finally get started...late.  It seems like most of us are past Jokanur Diggings, though the chatter on vent indicates that redo's may be necessary for the bonus.  The demon Llama did make an appearance (bleat), apparently we learned that one should not follow Wendy, and Evil Mike and Terry both logged off at the same time claiming internet problems....hhhhmmmmm.  And no, you can not save money on dog food with snot.

Well, a month off due to my work travel and we finally got another HM session in.  The Vizunah local team TPW'd 3 times before we got it down, but once the MM's got up and going, all was fine.  We seriously toasted the 35 min time limit.  The noob contest was hilarious, maybe those of us that participated will win an award.    Look forward to seeing all next week.

The winner is...Black!  Russ came in a close second with a three way tie for third with Terry, Tim, and Mike.  I hope everyone had fun and hope to see more faces at our next one.   Here is the list to let you know what we had to look for...

I've added an event to the calendar for Sundays the rest of the year.  We'll see how it goes and figure out if II'll extend it into the New Year.

If you want to train for the event, I want you to collect and give to me the following things: Monsterous Fang, Obsidian Shard, Diamond, Superiour Rune of Vigor, The Maneater, Lump of Charcoal, Umbrel Shell.

Last Saturday night we had a lot of people online.  We took advantage of that fact when Black organized a trip into the FOW!  It was a long and grueling set of zone missions but after about 2.5 hours we finished, acquiring about 15 shards in the process!

Lots of fun, hope to do it again soon.

Joko's Domain was one of the longest and most difficult Vanquishes we've had in a while.  Over 400 enemies and it took us two and a half hours!  Thanks to everyone who came, it was a lot of fun seeing other people get great drops! :P

Thank you for all who attended.  If you missed it, don't panic or worry, there were at least 3 who were unable to attend and there will be another group starting next week.  We also didn't get that far, so catching you up is not a problem =)  Poor Russ was captured by the girl team while Black, Mike, and Mark rounded out the other.  Tim chose to dance in the gh waiting for FC (poor Tim)  I hope we all had fun and I know I'm looking forward to next week!  And Mike, really...the name, change it, it's confusing ;D
