14th Anniversary events have started, including a new solo quest to obtain an epic ornament so you can make your current weapons look like any epic weapons you have previously earned.

More folks coming back to play again, some of us old-timers bringing our kids to play too now.  Reminds me of that movie "Grown Ups" with Adam Sandler...

EQ is free to play now and if you want to check it out again I am working on growing the guild, so now is a good time to come back :)

I would just like to let everyone know that I have left the hospital and I'm back to around 90% of pre-relapse health. I appreciate your thoughts while I was sick and thank everyone. It is amazing the impact this game has had on our lives when people you never met are as important to you as those you see every day. There will never be another game like this.

I am currently playing Rift since there is a class there ( bard ) that does not require too much quick thought or reflexes and fits my current situation very well. 

I have had to rethink my EQ return and now will just pop in once in awhile to see what is going on but can't return to active status since I've slowed down a bit. 

Again, thanks to everyone who wished me well and I hope to see you soon in game to chat a bit.

I am sorry to tell you that Cladari has had a relapse of the health problems he had in 2009 that caused him to have to stop playing EQ. He is presently in a coma and in critical condition in the VA hospital. As in 2009 I have been told not to expect anything and to prepare for the worst. Our family is here. He woke up from his coma in 2009 and I expect nothing less from him this time. He will be back - I am sure of it. I will keep you informed as I think to do it, the people in this game were always extremely important to him and he always told me how proud he was of the accomplishments of this group of people.
